There’s a serious lack of instructions & documentation and the plugin appears to have been abandoned by it’s creator 7 months ago.
To be fair, as far as the quiz & survey are concerned, it works fine and that’s why I gave it 2 stars. However, I wouldn’t recommend using it for any of its other capabilities, and personally won’t be using it again.
Major issues with this plugin:
– NO SUPPORT!
– Unclear on how to, or if its even possible to, use the information gathered by the form as part of the replacement tokens for the PDF.
– No instructions on what is meant to be used as the PDF template (requires you looking up the docraptor api, which you also need a license for if you intend on having certifications)
– No way to disable showing certification PDF link when the user fails (I needed to edit the plugin to get that functionality). This is important because the licenses for docRaptor are priced per document, so you will use up your license every time someone fails a quiz… Why someone would need to certified that they failed a quiz, I don’t know.

Great plugin. I am able to make different types of tests. I am also able to modify quite a lot of features thru the dashboard. Display of test results individually per user as well as a summary graph.
Really good plugin!

The “concept” is nice, but needs some serious work to make it function and better documentation. If you’re a programmer, go for it and you can make it work. For the non-programmer/average user, move on to something that’s been better coded and taken care of such as Awesome Surveys.
It’s really too bad about this plugin. It has hope if someone would finish it and clean up the spaghetti code so it functions without being a programmer.

Looks like nobody takes care of this plugin anymore. No reply from the developers for ages.

I miss some features as “customers answare” in the multiple choise and the support for the MS installation is still on the road, but I thick it is the best “standalone” plugin for survey and quiz!
Bravo!

Congratulations on creating a really excellent plugin. I searched and searched for a decent survey tool for doing a one off customer satisfaction survey, and teste over a dozen of the plugins other people were recommending. They all fell short of expectations. I needed to be able to examine individual results, and optionally aggregate them. I needed multiple questions. I needed continuum scoring (Strongly agree…. Strongly disagree). I needed progress bar. Decent asthetics… and the ability to put some HTML in questions and the thank you page. This plugin had it all. Its logcal, it works, you really thought it through.
Few offered continuum / likert scoring. Others couldn’t let you answer the survey more than once without big hassles – how do they expect you to test it? Duh! So many plugins out there had some but not all these features, and those that had it all, had crippled their survey product to only one question (thats a poll in my book!) in order to force you onto a subscription plan you don’t need. Not everyone is conducting surveys every month!
Thank you, thank you, thank you. I love this plugin. You rock!

I’m going to second durangod2 and state that this plugin is a great concept but needs alot more refinement before it can be expected to work out-of-the-box as intended with many WP plugins.
You will need to code and hack out this theme for it to display properly as leaving it default, there is stuff all over the page that a 5 yr could make a better displaying web page (apologise if i am being to blunt).
When i check out the user results, they are all anonymous even if i am logged into the site and doing the test. It would be great if it just used the custom name field (that is filled in prior to taking the quiz) to use as the name in the results page.
Also, is there any options to export and collate the results? If you get 300+ people a week doing the quiz, how are you going to collect the results so you can properly analyse them?
Like I said, great concept – but still aways to go

IMO what you end up with after install is the very basic root or foundation platform. I am not complaining here, i am thankful to have that as it saved me tons of time, but this is a review so i am being honest here.
I had to fiddle with just about everything to get it to work the way i wanted. Including template as well as format of quiz itself.
You will have to find a template that has an adjustable width. You need to use h2 as well as strong and sometimes blockquote in the text area blocks in settings to get it to display correctly and large enough you can see the text.
The red star for required is way out of place on display. The Multiple vrs Single question type really does not matter because the multiple option does not work correctly. So the only reason to choose multiple is if you want them to click multiple answers but no matter what you choose it still only counts one answer as the correct one, which is wrong on multiple setting.
Also the count percent does not match the question calculation. Such as i know i have 100 points total, i counted them. And i know i have 23 questions total. But yet the score shows 104 points total and i think it has something to do with the multiple answer code.
On the answer options do not click set as default if you ever plan on changing that. Once you click it your screwed if you want to turn that off and remove your radio button, you will need to delete the answer and redo it which will throw off your view order so you might as well just delete all the answers and do them all again.
The textarea blocks also do not wrap properly, i had to put line breaks in there to get them to do so. Page width is a headache on this mod.
I also had to go to the html option on the page it was on and really work on that part to get my intro text and quiz link to get along with each other.
On the quiz view itself the response view is not the best, im just lucky they are atleast showing in some order on the page, but the diplay format could have been alot better.
All in all it is something to work with that will save you some time from doing it from scratch. But it could have been done so much better as most of the issues are viewing issues.
Bottom line – if you want a simple quiz tool that with some work will give you close to what you want then yes its nice. However if you are looking to do scientific and precise calculations or anything serious outside of for fun sake then IMO i would not even mess with it.
I have installed many plugins for wordpress and this one rates low in score considering out of the box wysiwyg. It seems to want to defy you right from the start. So for that reason i give it a C- and hope the next version will be much improved.
