I don’t know what happened, because a few days before, everything was going well.

But today suddenly an error like this.

I turned off all the plugins and turned them on one by one, apparently the cause of this error was the “Markup (JSON-LD) structured in schema.org” plugin

For a while this plugin, I turn it off.

https://search.google.com/test/rich-results/ is reporting missing URL in author section of Article markup. I looked into it – a there is no box for URL in author section in article in the plugin.

Will you add it – or is there any workaround?

I have websites that have been up to date with the latest WP version, PHP, etc. and for some time now Markup (JSON-LD) structured in schema shows it is not compatible with the latest WP version; hence I’ve not attempted to update it. Is it compatible with the most recent WP version?

I chose “NewsArticle”, also provided with default image. But No image in the schema.org markup.

Installing this on an existing site – will the plugin pick up the content type of existing posts?

ie we have reviews – will the schema pick up reviews?

We also have Woocommerce with the ‘products’ as events – will they be picked up or how can we define them as such?

I have my site with the home page based on a page. I assume that because of this, the home page gets flagged as an “Article” in structured data. This to me does not make much sense and also results in an error as the page has no attached featured image to be included in the structured data.

Is there some way to prevent the home page to be flagged as an Article?

Is it possible to add Google Product schema to this plugin? It would be great for anyone running a woocommerce site. Right now there is no plugin that really has this, other than yoast, which is bloatware.

I’ve done the change at file:
includes/custom/wp-structuring-custom-post-event.php (line: 105)
'supports' => array( 'title', 'editor', 'author', 'thumbnail' )
added 'comments' to the array.
also: 'excerpt', 'custom-fields'

Please, consider supporting comments for future releases, because it still depends on user preferences (may enable or disable comments for each event post).

By the way:
It would be nice to have some trigger if I decide to put event posts on main blog loop (recent posts widget as well).
