Hello, I don’t find any contact option on spiff-radio.org. Does the plugin still work? If yes, I’m interested in the API.
]]>Spent a quite frustrating afternoon trying to get Soundsystem to work to no avail.
It looks like exactly the kind of plugin I want i.e. make a playlist drawing from Spotify as well as other sources like Soundcloud, but it seems like a lot of effort and no result.
Maybe what the plugin does is just too technical for a simple interface, but it feels like solving a puzzle to get anywhere with it. Eventually after wondering if maybe radios and albums might be important, making individual track posts, and putting these codes into a playlist post, I get what looks like a player strip at the bottom and a post with ‘!’ icons beside the tracks.
There’s no feedback so I have no idea where it’s gone wrong. I get the feeling it should be much simpler than this (maybe I’m missing something?)
All I want is something that looks a bit like Spotify, but avoiding Spotify if possible, and if Soundsystem does the clever work drawing in the music then this should be the easy bit.
Anyway, it looks like it has great potential, so I felt I had to say this, I’m sure it could be very useful if there was an easier way to use it!
The WP plugin looks great, is feature rich and can do a lot of things, but the API Key is the most important (as far as we are concerned). We’ve contributed for a year to have access to this, but are yet to hear back from the developer. We are hoping this message doesn’t go unanswered like the emails we sent. Looking forward to a fruitful and long term association.
]]>Hey I would like to embed this in my native app too, is there a rest api available for this wonderful plugin?
]]>Hi,
I have just subscribed to receive the API key of the plugin. I hope this enables to post Spotify complete songs, beyond the 30 seconds preview.
Is it possible?
