Good day!
We have been using the official Postmark plugin but are testing the Solid Mail plugin (since we are Solid customers). We are choosing to set up the plugin using Postmark. We are using the correct API (that works in the Postmark Plugin). When we send a test email, we get this error: https://share.cleanshot.com/6rJzyGT9
It looks like the plugin is still trying to use SMTP even though we chose the API.
Do you have any insight into how we can fix this? Thanks!
]]>Since your last “update” all of our mails contain this: ?????????????????? instead of readable text… And you don’t even notices this by yourself? Do you use your own plugins?
]]>Dear SolidWP Support Team,
I’m reaching out regarding the recent updates to the Solid Mail plugin. Previously, the “From” email address in emails sent from my forms was set to match the email address entered by users within the form itself. However, since the latest update, it seems that an additional “From” address (configured in the plugin’s settings) is now appended to these outgoing emails.
I would like to know if there’s a way to revert this setting or customize it so that only the user-entered email from the form is displayed as the “From” address, without appending the plugin’s default address. Is there an option within the plugin’s settings, or could you recommend a PHP function or filter to adjust this behavior?
]]>I use your recent smtp for a long time before and not causing issues. After you update and rebrand the name it causing my woo checkout page infinite loading.
Sorry have to Uninstall!
]]>Hi
Recently, we’ve been having an issue using this plugin.
Every form on every website that are using this plugin is automatically subscribed to a marketing mailing list Solid Security <[email protected]>
This goes against RGDP right?
]]>Hello,
Not sure what you did , but this plugin worked perfectly on version 2.0.0 . Now with 2.1.0 , order can’t be placed in the checkout, receiving a fatal error:
PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function PHPMailer\PHPMailer\mail() in /home/XXXXX/public_html/wp-includes/PHPMailer/PHPMailer.php:881
Can you please have a look ?
]]>Every site I had wp-smtp installed on with an SMTP connection working has been disabled! Since your update the active connection is disabled on all sites, and hundreds of our sites have been sending mail to nowhere for the past 2 days:
Additionally the interface now looks like a bucket of crap and your mail logs are now useless.
You took a nice simple plugin and destroyed it, next time spend the same amount of time testing as you do developing!!
I will be uninstalling it and replacing it with something not designed by idiots.
Best of luck to you, cause you will need it.
Thanks for destroying my weekend!
]]>Great plugin, and works perfectly!
Is it possible to move the ‘Delete’ button to the top so we can easily delete email quicker?
Also, a bulk delete of mail logs would be very helpful too.
]]>I just migrated my WP website to another host. As I was checking all plugins I have installed I realized every Solid Mail UI page (“Solid Mail”, “Mail Logs” and “Settings”) is empty in WP Admin. This is the only plugin I have this problem with (out of 12 plugins I have installed). It seems everything still works because I keep receiving emails but all of the settings pages are blank.
I am on the latest version of WP. Prior to this I haven’t visited Solid Mail configuration page for what may be a year or more because I didn’t need to change anything since I had it setup.
]]>Hi,
Has the plugin only been tested up to WP 6.5.5? Or also under WP 6.6.2?
Greetings
]]>I inserted the correct SMTP details in the plugin but contact from 7 is not sending the email.
Please give proper resolution for this
I hope this message finds you well.
I am writing to inform you about a bug I encountered with your plugin. When attempting to use a password containing the ‘%’ character, the plugin failed to function correctly. It was only after I changed my password, removing the ‘%’ character, that the plugin started to work as expected.
This issue caused some inconvenience, and I believe it might affect other users as well. Could you please investigate and address this bug in a future update?
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I appreciate your efforts in providing a useful tool, and I look forward to your prompt response and resolution.
]]>The mails are not running through my postfix milters, looks like you still use mail() but only with smtp auth? It would be nice, if the mails run through the full chain of my postfix….

I am on a VPS CenOs 7 PHP 7.4WP SMTP connection error Seems like there are some problems with the enterd information. Please re-check & re-enter it and hit the "Save changes" button. We recently made some changes regarding how we save the username and password in the database, namely we are encrypting them, so that might be the reason for the connection error. Re-entering and saving them should solve the issue.
Hey! Awesome plugin. Just wondering if there’s a setting somewhere to disable the reply-to field? It’s overriding my Gravity Forms notifications’ settings. For now I’ve commented this line ->
$phpmailer->AddReplyTo($phpmailer->From,$phpmailer->FromName);
But would like to know if there is a better solution.
Thanks
Fred
]]>Hi. It looks to me like this plugin is sending html emails as text. I see no option to select how the emails are sent. For example, this was my latest Wordfence notification. Please help!!

Can I have these feature by this plugin? Is this feature possible to gain with this plugin?
Ability to add unlimited SMTP accounts and allow sending from the same email address.
Rotate the sending method from multiple methods per second, minutes, per hour, per day (to avoid the free limit of SMTP providers such as Gmail).

]]>Hi,
Is it possible to use this plugin to send mail with a Microsoft 365 account?
I’ve done it successfully with a Google Workspace (GSuite) account, using an App password. So I thought an App password would be the way to go on M365.
But recently Microsoft has discontinued App passwords and I believe Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) becomes a hurdle because (naturally) the plugin doesn’t support MFA.
Does anyone have any experience with this?

]]>Hi,
a client of us uses CF7 and Easy SMTP. The problem he reports is that when he receives the message and clicks to answer the message, the “reply to” field is empty.
View post on imgur.com
CF7 has an additional header Reply-To: [your-email] and it was working fine before installing Easy SMTP.
The “Reply-To Email Address” in Easy SMTP settings is empty.
Is there a way to fix the problem and avoid Easy SMTP to override CF7 “reply-to” field?
Thank you
]]>Love the plugin, but I’m confused. Since your encryption update, I cannot reenter the proper username or password to restore authorization. Must the user name be an address at the website it’s used on? Which password? The site, the SMTP host? Cand I change the username and password, or must they be the data used upon install? Can we continue to use the plugin despite lack of authentication?
And, the link to the Plugin Homepage leads to an unsafe destination in Tunesian in Safari, Chrome, and Firefox. What now?
Thanks in advance.

I have been messing with this all day and figured I’d reach out to the community.
I’m using NinjaForms and would like to use WPSMTP to email out. Our mail service is office365.
I keep getting this error: SMTP Error: Could not connect to SMTP host. Failed to connect to server
Per O365:
Server/smart host: smtp.office365.com
Port: Port 587 (recommended) or port 25
TLS/StartTLSEnabled
Username/email address and password Enter the sign-in credentials of the hosted mailbox being used
When I put that in on the settings page I get:

I’m sure its something I’m doing wrong but any suggestions would be most helpful.

]]>Hello
I tried setting up this plugin after WordPress stopped sending email from a contact form. My page is running on an ancient version of WordPress – 4.7.2 – and this was one of the only SMTP plugins listed as compatible.
I entered all my SMTP details and clicked “save” and was immediately met with an Error 500 page. The root page still loads correctly but the admin panel is not accessible – I can’t even load the login page.
I tried loading with ?nocache=value in case it was a caching issue but this didn’t help. I also tried in a different browser but the result was the same.
How do I get back in to manage my page after this plugin crashed the admin control panel? Please help.
Cheers
Adrian
I am trying to get SMTP working with my bike club’s website hosted at Siteground. The domain is hosted at 123-reg, and email is hosted at Google.
