My client received a message from a user that a single SMS came through 4 times within the space of an hour. We’re on WP SMS Version 6.9.4.1 and use Twilio as the gateway.
After reviewing in both the WP SMS and Twilio outboxes/billing it appears it only sent 1 time, and only charged 1 time for this message. Now I’m not sure if it’s happened to more than one user or just them. To note: the last error in our logs related to WP SMS was on Oct 16th, but these messages weren’t sent until Oct 22nd – so I don’t believe it’s connected.
I’d be curious if you could speak into why this might be happening? Or any possible solutions?

Thanks a lot for this really fantastic plugin. I use it with sms77.de (seven) and it worked perfectely for a long time. Now it stopped sending SMS with the gateway status ‘inactive’ and ‘SMS carrier temporarily not available’. It seems everithing it’s ok with the gateway (GET request is received and response is sent from the gateway).
How can I fix this?
]]>I have integrated the SMS.to gateway service to receive SMS after publishing an article. I’m receiving the message body correctly, but the sender name is displayed as “InfSMS”, instead of the configured sender ID.

]]>Starting with wp-sms version 6.6.2, there appears to be a conflict with flatpickr in the wp-sms plugin and flatpickr in the events-manager plugin. Both plugins load flatpickr into the global window.flatpickr, and some conflict between the two is causing a date input in an events-manager admin form to be empty on page load (initial value not shown). There is no conflict when rolled back to wp-sms 6.6.1.
Would it be possible for you to fix this, perhaps with some combo of:
1) load wp-sms’s flatpickr only on pages where it’s needed
2) load wp-sms’s flatpickr into its own “namespace”/variable – something other than window.flatpickr
3) change wp-sms’s initialization to make sure its flatpickr only affects DOM elements generated by wp-sms

WP SMS is reporting WP send-sms errors for return values like

and the destination mobile is receiving the SMS text message.

I was trying to configure WP SMS, and I realized that it created a Mobile Field at WP Admin backend, as you can see here— https://snipboard.io/u1NzE3.jpg
Now, I don’t want my Users to see WP Admin backend. So I’ve used Ultimate Member plugin to create my User Profile.
If I create a field called Phone in Ultimate Member, and users fill Phone number Data into that field.
It will mean that there’s a Phone number User meta attached to my Users.
Is there any way that WP SMS can fetch that user meta, and use it as the basis to send Automated Birthday SMS? — rather than hoping to use the phone number field it created at WP Admin backend (a place I don’t want my Users to get to)?

Hello, I am using WP-SMS + WP SMS Pro Pack
I programmed an SMS-verification-plugin of my own, which in turn uses WP-SMS to send SMS to a user. It was working flawlessly for months now.
When I upgrade to version 6.5 of WP-SMS the plugin cannot send SMS with WP-SMS anymore. Therefore, I had to revert to a previous version.
