I tried WP Smart Export but i can see that iThemes sends me daily message that there are Vulnerabilities because of WP Smart Export. Whats your view on that?

Hey there,

I use this plugin to export Ultimate Member custom user fields.

I have a few instances where users have updated their profile, and I can see that it has updated in the back-end, however when I export the data, their data is incomplete on the CSV file (blank fields, data is cut short).

Hi, about a year ago (see topic “New Fields”) I wrote about an issue I was having where I created some new fields in the UM Profile form and they did not appear as an option to export in the WP Smart Export plugin. I don’t know if I am explaining this correctly but I have added some new input fields in the UM profile form and have data in those fields. They appear OK on the form in the front end of my website and I can enter data into them, but when I go to expor data through the WP Smart Export plugin the fields don’t appear on the list of available fields to include in the export data.

I have tried to “refresh” the table via the refresh button but this appears to do nothing. The spinning wheel just continues to spin with no apparent result despite leaving it for over 24hrs. I tried to deactivate the plugin and reactivate to see if that forced the table to update but nothing. I then deleted the plugin and reinstalled again no result. When I deleted the plugin it said it would delete all data but when I reloaded it the saved export template was still there so I am not sure it actually deleted anything.

I have no idea what to do next.

Hi – I currently use LearnDash plugin to add LMS abilities to a WordPress site. The report works great, except it’s not able to provide me with date of student completion in the course. The “course completion” date is always the date of export. Any ideas how this can be fixed?

Good day. I need to export to Exel the data of users registered on the site. Several documents (photos, scans) are attached to the user profile. Can I use this plugin to upload attached documents to Excel into a separate cell along with other information about the user? How are user-uploaded photos, scans, etc. exported? I realise this is not a problem with this plugin, but ask the question here as it’s something other users may have found a way around, or maybe there’s something clever I can do with the plugin; I hope that’s OK – feel free to close the topic if not.

It’s the old chestnut of Excel stripping the leading zero from phone numbers; it is there in the custom field stored by my Ultimate Member form, and I’ve set the field type in this plugin to Text – but still Excel strips that zero. What I’d dearly love is some way to ensure that it stays there without messing around with the csv file (eg opening it in Notepad, where it’s still there) – I want to be able to just double-click & have it open correctly.

The only thing I can think to do otherwise is add ‘Please include spaces‘ to the field on the form, and add a placeholder of 01234 567890 as a hint.

Greetings! I’ve subscribed to pro, because this plugin seems like exactly what I’m looking for. I’m using LifterLMS and I need to export quiz questions and answers. In phpMyAdmin these are located in wp_lifterlms_quiz_attempts, not in Posts, Pages, or Users. Is it possible to increase the functionality to search inside other database locations? The questions and answers are serialized, and so unreadable with a normal export.

I have added a new field in my user form but it won’t appear as an option to select in the WP Smart Export form so I can’t select the field to include with my exported data. What am I doing wrong?

I need a custom role (“Members” plugin) to use WP Smart Export. Only admins can use it for now.
Is there a WP Smart Export slug I can add in Members settings for this role ?
Is there another way to allow a non-admin to export, without giving manage_options rights for this specific role ?

When I export a user zip code and the zip starts with 0 (e.g. 01658) the export truncates the zero and shows 1658. The data is being exported as text.

Hi. I just purchased your plugin based on the fact that it said it could export taxonomies along with custom post types, but my taxonomies do not appear as options during the export process. I have a ‘Vehicle’ custom post type which has custom taxonomies called ‘Make’ and ‘Model’ but these are not available for export.

Can you please shed some light on this?
