I’ve looked high and low and can’t find the file where I can replace the double arrowsrel="next">?</a> with a single. Code appears when I Inspect Element in Chrome but a search via ftp files on the server both .js, css, php, came up short.

The links show, but I can’t click on them.
Also, and as a lack (not a failure): doesn’t seem to provide a way to only navigate to post in the same category.

Hey, great plugin!

I have all the latest browser versions and can only see the plugin on Chrome. Is this not compatible with Firefox and Safari? (Using a Mac, haven’t checked Windows).

Also, I adjusted the .css and replaced the #999 with my color, I have to go through those steps in the FAQ to change this small thing?

There only seems to be a mistake in the CSS code for the responsive media screening. There are some missing brackets around “max-width”.

This works for me (change “401px” to your needs):

I am using “WP Single Post Navigation” and it works great except for one thing. I am also using the plugin “Post Types Order” to rearrange the order of the posts. They appear in the proper order when viewing a page with all the posts in that category, but when you click on a post it does not adhere to that order.

I would like to know if there is any possibility for this plugin to work using category. For example: I have ‘Category1’ and ‘Category2’ some posts each, both in main menu. So if i press ‘Category1’ from my menu and hit next post, result should be just from ‘Category1’ and not mix them up with the post from ‘Category2’. Can it be done?

Hello since the update to 3.7 i think so WPSPN worked fine.
Suddenly I stopped seeing the right arrow and looking into this i noticed that there’s no link and relevant properties for the previous post arrow to show.
Do you know why this happens?

I downloaded your plugin for my website and it works flawlessly on my home page but as soon as I click a category in my menu, I cant get the plugin to navigate through posts of the same category. Instead it goes to the one before/after on the main page. My website is: curatedvision.com

You say that WP Single Post Navigation works with the Headway Theme Framework. But I cannot get the Single Post Navigation to display with Headway Theme (Versions 3.4.3 to 3.4.11). Checked the HTML and it does not show up.
(If I switch to Twenty Eleven, WP Single Post Navigation works.)

Any idea what could cause this and how to fix it? Would love to use WP Single Post Navigation with Headway 3.4.x.

I have a basic photoblog, every post is one picture at a time, and installed this plugin to scroll through the pictures easily.

It works great, but am looking to add it to my main index as well. The problem is that when users arrive at my site, the arrows are not available because they are on the main index, even though the index page just displays the latest post.

The only way for a user to scroll through my pictures (single posts) using this plugin would be to arrive at my site via a link to a post, rather than just typing in the home page.

Is there something I can change to the code to have the arrows appear from the main index, so users can use it instead of the basic wordpress post navigation system?

I checked in your style.css file of the plugin that you have stopped hand held devices from seeing the buttons using the code…………

I have this plugin installed on the latest release of wordpress but the navigations are not showing on the single posts page.

I also have this installed on another site with an older version of wordpress and it works, so I figure it might be a compatibility issue.

How can I fix this problem? And if this hasn’t been resolved for 3.4.2, what other alternative single post navs can I use?

I’ve added both filters from your FAQ page for modifying the tooltips.

wpspn_filter_previous_post_tooltip and wpspn_filter_next_post_tooltip

The text before the colon changes as per the filter but the post title disappears.

Any suggestions?

I’ve got a problem with a function in my theme and your plugin and I cannot determine wich function is faulty.
The problem: next and previous nav link generated by the plugin are always pointing to the same posts.

I use a child theme of DotB theme. Your plugin works nice with DotB so I know it’s my functions.php that contains the guilty function but I connot find wich one – too much errors when trying to desactivate and sometimes, the plugin works without logic.

First of all, congratulations on the great plugin! Wish there was an “Options” or “Settings” button for this plugin for those of us who don’t know how to code well.

Here’s my question: How do I place your “Next post” and “Previous post” buttons within the post itself? Right now the buttons appear well out of the container of the theme on the extreme left and right sides of the websites. How do I get the buttons next to the post itself?

Let me start off by saying that this plugin is absolutely incredible. I needed a way to get people to click through blog posts, and this works incredibly well. It stands out without being intrusive. Also, you explained everything amazingly well in the .css and .php files. I was able to customize everything the way i wanted it in about 15 minutes. you even set the max width section, and i was able to change it to work on ipads – AMAZING!!!

now, my question – is there a way to get the title of the next/previous post to show up when you hover over the arrow? i can set up the .css, but i’m no .php guy! if not, this is still an incredible plugin. if everything holds up without any problems i am going to donate (im poor as dirt, so don’t expect too much)
