Hi there,
We seem to be running into an issue on a site that is running Simple Calendar. I know that the plugin has not been updated in a while, but figured I would post this here if you still are developing it.
Here is the error:
Fatal error: Declaration of CMB2_Type_Text_Datetime_Timestamp::render() must be compatible with CMB2_Type_Text::render($args = Array) in /wp-content/plugins/wp-simple-calendar/includes/cmb2/includes/types/CMB2_Type_Text_Datetime_Timestamp.php on line 13
Thanks,
Sean
May i help to translate?
]]>Hello
This may be the wrong place to ask, in which case please tell me.
I have WP Simple Calendar on my website, used to show availability of my gite ( Bed and Breakfast). I’ve added a second bedroom to the gite, and it would be useful to have two identical calendars on the page side by side to show customers when one or both rooms are booked.
Is this possible, and if so how, please? I realise that it will entail re-naming the existing calendar from ‘gite availability’ to ‘gite 1 availability’, is this possible or will I have to rebuild a replacement calendar from scratch?
Treat me like I know very little about WordPress and the Calendar, because I use it so little that I forget how to construct a website.
Thanks in advance
Regards
Mick Dyer
]]>Hi there, using the simple calendar for some time – just found that I cannot add or edit events – not possible to edit the date. Any help?
]]>Nice simple tool! Is there a german version available? Maybe I can contribute a translation.

]]>Hello,

Hello everyone,

]]>It looks like as of the update to WordPress 4.6 the grid template view does not display newly inputted calendar items.
Calendar items entered before WordPress 4.6 look to still be able to connect to the grid view properly and display in the calendar, but items entered after updating to 4.6 will only display in list view and not in the grid view.
If you have any work arounds or fixes, that would be great (since the plugin is still a good one and very usable).
Thanks,
Sean
WP 4.6.1
Plugin Version 1.1.1
Tested broken in working live site and a fresh WP 4.6.1 dev environment
The date span doesn’t list on all dates entered. Is it possible to show the event every day until the end date?
Additionally, there is no date-range given in list view when there is an end-date applied.
]]>Hi,
problems when I click on next month buttons.
In calendar appears 1999 year and everything is stopped.
I’ve tried with Crome, Safari, all the same.
I read the previous threads and cancelled the line console.log…. … …
Any suggestion?

]]>We are having an issue where if you place an event in the calendar that spans across a range of days that it only displays the title on the first date (and not on the entire span).
]]>I am having compatibility issues with chrome & safari in the colorbox java script that comes up. The shape of the box and text insinde looks fine initially, but then changes after it is closed and opened again. The second time, it is wide and short, and finally, it comes up empty. It will then rotate through these different appearances. I can’t seem to figure out what is causing this, but I would really like to get it fixed. Does anyone have any suggestions?
]]>Hello,
I need to different calendars to display two different things. I’m thinking the categories function will help me do that. Is there a way I can ask the shortcode to only display 1 category on one page, and another category on another? Thanks!

]]>Hi,
I’ve been trying a few plugins of this sort and I tried yours. After I deactivated it there is soomething peculiar happening. I mousover a link on my WordPress pages and Chrome displays the URL in the bottom left corner. When I move my mouse away it’s replaced by the URL to a Simple Calendar event “e.g. “/?wpscevents-name-of-event”.
I have a floating bar fixed to the bottom of the page with the player for my radio station right where this thing blocks the page.
Thanks
]]>The calendar is great. Thank you!
We are seeing a problem with the Last Month-Next Month links in IE9. The link address appears correct on mouseover, but when the links are left-clicked, the page does not reload to the next/previous month. If we right click and open, open in new window or new tab, we get the next and previous month, but just left clicking on the links does not work in IE9.
Works fine in Firefox, Chrome and Safari.
]]>I can see how to add an even but cannot work out how to add the actual calendar. How do I use this plugin? Is there a shortcode to insert a calendar?
]]>I’m trying this plugin on an intranet site and have set up a calendar with multiple events at different locations.
a couple is issues I have noticed:
On the page containing the wpscgrid shortcode, the event appears with the correct title, however on clicking the event for more detail, the same location is displayed for each event.
The date display in the event editor’s event details meta box shows the date in MM/DD/YYYY format rather than reflecting the date format set in settings -> general
