Lately my website has usage problems, and 508 errors. So I installed your plugin to help me diagnose what is wrong. PHP Memory & RAM update in real time, but CPU load is always at 0%. Even though I know this is wrong. By comparing with cpanel STATISTICS or the day’s RESOURCE USAGE. Any idea what might be causing this?

What permission do I need to give to someone so that they will be able to see the server overview panel on the dashboard? right now with basic permissions they cant see anything rendered inside the dashboard panel

Recently I’ve noticed some pretty big discrepancies with the real time ram usage figures. The plugin is currently installed on a development site that’s being staged and not live.

When the server is restarted the reporting looks accurate, but as time goes on over a couple days the usage creeps up to high levels even though the site has been idle. After an up time of 3 days the plugin is reporting the current Ram usage is 74%, but htop in linux shows the system’s current Ram usage is 26%.

Server OS : Linux / 64Bit OS
Server Software : nginx/1.24.0
PHP Version : 8.2.6
WP – 6.3.2

Plugin show wrong information last times.. you can see screenshot i have 20 gb memory using just 42 mb.. But your plugin show 42 mb is %209 using from 20 GB complately wrong maths ?? And server useage graphic also show wrong and also bar going out from border. Please fix it I like your plugin..

I saw a bug when I re-sized my Linode server yesterday. I was already using your plugin on my 1GB Ram, 1 CPU/Core Linode server.
I re-sized to a larger 4GB Ram, 2Core Linode server. After that I was getting Negative Value Dram Memory Use values, and I think the Core count may have been wrong, but not sure.

To fix the problem, I deactivated and deleted your plugin, then re-installed and re-activated. Then everything worked fine.
Can you please check these two settings on each server reboot or plugin activation, or give us a button to click to force these rechecks to fix this error?

Hi everybody, this plugin points to ip-api.com (208.95.112.1), considered as Malicious site, I had to uninstall it.

I just started using this plugin on a fresh install and server. After updating my.cnf to tweak a couple settings I restarted the mysql server.

The “Maximum No. of Connections” in the dashboard for basic information is still displaying 151 even though that variable has changed. But if you look “Advanced Database Information” > “max_connections” the new value displays correctly. MySQL is also reporting the new max connection value as well.

The admin area does not get cached, but to be sure I also cleared everything including browser cache for the heck of it too.

I want to use the plugin to monitor our server better. Installation etc was easy. PHP Memory Usage is displayed.

However, I get the following warning: “Special Note: Hi, please note that PHP shell_exec() function is either not enable in your hosting environment or not been given executable permission, hence you won’t be seeing the following results above: CPU/Core count, Real Time CPU Usage, Server Uptime, RAM details, Real Time RAM Usage. To see these details, please ask your host to enable shell_exec() function and give it executable permission.”

According to my hoster, shell_exec() is executable and also returns data (showed me this in a PHP script).

What else can I do from my side to get this data also displayed via your plugin?

i want to know details surrounding cpu, memory and database usage.

• is there currently too many users on the website?

• is a particular bot flooding the website?

• is it currently sending out too many emails? each email going out is it going out once or is it doubling up?

• is there a database query thats taking too long to return a result?

• is there a page thats chewing up resources?

these are the kind of things i want to know more about, and would like to know how this is possible.

I hope all of you are doing well and staying safe. With warm heart I would like to inform you all that on 21/11/2022 (Monday) I got into a severe accident and my right ankle has been fractured very badly. Currently, I’m under a lot of painkillers until the surgery will probably happen on this coming Wednesday (30/11/2022).

After that, I need to stay in the hospital for few more days before the doctors discharge me from there. And then finally it will take multiple weeks/months for me to fully recover.

In the meantime, I will try to reply to support tickets whenever I physically can but you might not receive a response from my end from 30/11/2022 to 06/12/2022 as I will be in the hospital and have no way to reply to you.

I think adding a chart to see usage over time would be a very useful addition to help diagnose events that happened in the past.

First of all, thanks for a very useful plugin!

I’ve been using it for a while on our main site (on Cloudways) but I’ve been debugging a separate issue on the site that led me to look at server monitoring data and I realised that when accessing the admin panel, the CPU usage goes up to 30% (vs 1-5 normally) and the idle time goes down to 75% (from 100% most of the time normally).

When the admin panel is not accessed, the plugin doesn’t cause any additional load.

So I have two questions:

1) Is this to be expected? This seems to be quite ironic for a plugin that helps measure server load, if it causes most of the CPU load ??

2) If not to be expected, is this something you can reproduce and fix? I couldn’t find any settings to adjust.

A separate (minor) issue, so not worth creating a separate thread just for it, the plugin doesn’t report 3 cores correctly. My Vultr server at Cloudways has 3 cores, and the plugin only reports 3. I asked Cloudways to check, and they confirmed the server was using 3 cores. If I upgrade the server to 4-cores they are correctly reported. So maybe the plugin is not supporting odd core nubers, which might be unusual?

I am trying to find a process that runs every 1 hour and does not appear on the cron job list. So I would like to ask if it is possible from the plugin to log also any PHP processes that may run. I have contacted my server provider to figure this out, but all they can see is this php-fpm: pool mydomain.uk.

So is it possible to find what process runs every hour and consumes the CPU, with your plugin?

The server is Linux-based, with good resources.

Hi, i’ve wonder if it’s possible or you can add new version with notification when you reach for example 50% Real Time CPU Load:, or Real Time PHP Memory Usage. Notification or logfile that will show you in which date/hour, you have got overload your set limit.

Love your current plugin that provides hosting environment stats. It has helped us understand client issues and visually see that most of the time issues are because of hosting issues (godaddy shared hosting plans showing maxed CPU usage for a small informational wordpress site with only a few plugins).

I am curious however if it would be possible to also incorporate a way to understand what the WordPress usage is on the server in terms of plugins using resources etc. As wordpress sites become more plugin heavy it seems it would be beneficial to see if performance and slowness of the site is because of a particular plugin or plugins. It looks like wordpress put together a formal performance team, so a possible solution may be coming sometime down the road.

Our website has sometimes problems when 300 / 400 visitors are on the website. Often the site goes offline and uploading media or posting messages is just not possible. The server stops working or is very slow.

After installing your plugin i noticed the following: PHP Memory : 87.57 MB of 5 GB (1751% used)

How is 87.57MB 1751% of a 5GB total? What is going on here? Anyone has a clue?

On my server I have regularly installed Memcached on Unix Socket and it is perfectly detected by WordPress and also works perfectly with W3 Total Cache.

Unfortunately I can’t get Memcached to detect your plugin which keeps saying that it is not installed and also using Memcached on Unix Socket I have this path for Memcached Server Host /var/run/memcached/memcached.sock which obviously does not include the insertion of port.

Can you help me solve this problem ?
