Hello, we like you plugin very much and use it for some time without problems. But with the latest update the option to publish a planned post immediately is no more available in the post edit screen, although this option is checked in the settings. So it seems that there is no way anymore to publish a planned post immediately. Any help would be appreciated.
Best regards, Bertram
]]>I need to be able to specify a category and have the existing posts found auto-publish to different social media on a 8 hour schedule for example. Is that a functionality of any of the upgraded versions?
]]>Hi, I’m using the SchedulePress plugin. However, I am encountering a situation where I get an error while sharing to pinterest. Even though I have successfully connected to pinterest, I receive the message: “Pinterest error (code: 401) with message: Authentication failed.” What does this mean? and what should I do to solve it?
]]>I recently started using the plugin and found it very useful, but it’s not working correctly for me.
After editing a page in Elementor, I click on the SchedulePress option and select the date and time for the page to be published, but for some reason, the page ends up being published immediately.
When I check the calendar, it shows that there is a scheduled post, even though the page has already been published. I don’t understand what is happening or how to fix it.
]]>Good morning, your plugin is very nice!
However, I would like to ask if it will be possible to implement calendar display changes so that those who have multiple articles in a single day can view them better, even on a weekly basis. Furthermore, it would also be nice to be able to read the entire text of the article, without necessarily having to click on the quick edit…
For better understanding…I need something like in this picture:
https://www.nuvoledibellezza.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/Capto_Capture-2024-06-13_12-19-34_AM-scaled.jpg
Hope you can improve this…
Many thanks
]]>Enabling LinkedIn sharing has proven to be quite a challenge due to confusing instructions. On the “Social Profile” tab, users are prompted to select “profile” after enabling LinkedIn. However, following the directions from this page, it becomes apparent that setting up a company page (not profile sharing) is necessary on LinkedIn before obtaining the required app information for sharing.
Having setup a page on LinkedIn and attempting to connect with my LinkedIn account using the provided authentication keys led to an error message: “Bummer, something went wrong. The redirect_uri does not match the registered value.“
It seems that the option to select “Profile” might be misleading, especially for users with free accounts, as access to “Page” is restricted to pro accounts in the drop down menu under “Social Profile” tab. Moreover, setting up a LinkedIn app, which requires a company page, only adds to the frustration. Entering LinkedIn company page info for “Profile” resulted in the aforementioned error message.
If LinkedIn sharing solely relies on a LinkedIn app, which can only be created for a LinkedIn page, then displaying “Profile” option in the free plugin is misleading. Users may end up wasting time on an option that is only available for paid accounts, further complicating an already challenging process.
I have wasted a lot of time on this confusing and misleading situation and feel like giving this app a 1 star only … though I was thinking otherwise. I have not tried other social sharing options but now I reckon they all are going to be as confusing and impossible to connect.

]]>Hi
]]>Is there a way to highlight what day it is currently on the calender? If today was highlighted somehow and past days/weeks were grayed out it would be so much easier to read. Bit confusing at the moment.
Other than that, great plugin!
Posts to Pinterest do not appear as ‘Pinterest Board Pins’ immediately upon posting. There is a delay.
Is this delay imposed by ‘SchedulePress’ Plugin?
Is this delay related to WordPress Chron-Jobs?
Or is this delay happening on the Pinterest platform?
How can I use this with other plugins like The Events Calendar? I would like the ability to schedule when my events post to social.
]]>In the InstantShare.php
file there is this line:
apply_filters('use_block_editor_for_post_type', true, Helper::get_allow_post_types() )
This is an incorrect usage of the use_block_editor_for_post_type
filter which may break other plugins. This filter, as used by core, passes a string as the second argument, but here you are passing an array. I suggest fixing this to improve compatibility with other plugins who expect the second argument to be a string.
From what I can see you don’t really need the second filter anyway as use_block_editor_for_post
covers the post type check already.
Even better, don’t use these filters but instead use the use_block_editor_for_post()
function provided by core.
Can you add a setting to select a color to highlight the background of the current day in the calendar?

There seems to be a bug with the latest version as the republish/draft scheduling options box on the post editor screen is not appearing on any of our sites.

]]>It looks like the SchedulePress Calendar only shows posts that have a “Published” or “Scheduled” state. Is, or could there be, an option somewhere or another way to display on the calendar any posts with a “Draft” state that also have a date and time?
I realize not everyone may prefer this behavior. But for me, it would be incredibly helpful to be able to see alongside all scheduled and published posts (a) that I’ve started a post that I want to publish on a given date but (b) still need to finish up.
Thanks so much for considering this!

]]>Hi!
I use your plugin for a test but I have a little question: my scheduled articles are published in non-chronological order, i.e. the article with the furthest date is displayed first. I would like it to be the other way around, to have my article with the earliest date displayed first. how to do this ?
Thanks for your help.

Trying to close this banner with X and it still loads on each page. do you have plan to hide it or not?
]]>We got our SchedulePress plugin all set up and got our API keys for Twitter and Facebook. Facebook seems to be working perfectly, however, we’re having issues with how it’s auto-posting to our Twitter timeline. It seems to be cutting off the excerpt and it’s different by how much gets cut off each time. It’s not an issue with the 280-character limit because if we manually post the same exact thing on Twitter itself, it will work just fine. I am not sure what is causing the issue and why I have come to you for help.
I am attaching screenshots of our SchedulePress Social Templates as well as a screenshot from one of our auto posted Twitter post (which we deleted and manually posted since it was messed up and cut off) and the manually done tweet through Twitter to show the difference.

Very capable product. All working fine until latest update.
After update: Plugin activates OK, calendar and all settings visible.
However, when updating any post the well known WP error message appears:
There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.
Deactivate plugin > all normal again.
No prior problems with hosting, php version, browser, theme or WP version. All solid.
Hi
It would be really useful if we could filter the calendar by category so we can see how many posts are planned for a specific category.
Thanks.
]]>Hello, i have a bug with SchedulePress : can’t update most settings.. It looks like changes are stored, but when i refresh the page i can see they weren’t stored.
It used to work.. But it’s now broken.. I tried to downgrade to a previous version (4.13) but I still have the bug.
I have a success message, but the setting is not stored..
Demo video of the bug : https://jmp.sh/28k5Jvab
Is there any way to “reset” all this plugin settings ?
(i’m experienced with WordPress)
Thanks a lot !
