Hi.
Can you disable only select plugins vs. having to disable all of them?
and…
When disabling, it only disables for the current users and not all users and visitors right?
also…
Have you resolved the issue I have read about wp-config getting erased by other users if it is up one folder level in the traditional place in the root of the WP install?
How resilient is this plugin with all kinds of WP single site installs and network installs? Is there any unexpected recent (say within a year) issues with using this plugin now?
Thanks.
]]>Hi there, great plugin. Works with one of my sites but not the other. I click enable, the page loads, no change. Is there any other way of learning the issue other than disabling plugins and theme one by one – ironic! Haha..
Thanks in advance
]]>Awesome plugin! But after enabling safe mode, I cannot disable it. Neither through dashboard or through toggle at top of screen. Only way is to de-activate plugin.
Any thoughts? This is WP v 5.8
Thanks!
]]>I am running WordPress 5.8. Recently when I first login to the Admin Dashboard, I see several plugin updates pending. When I visit the Plugin Panel or Updates Panel, the updates disappear.
I then activate WP Safe Mode plugin (normally I leave it disactivated) and the Plugin Updates reappear and I am able to navigate to the Plugins panel and process the updates.
What could be happening here? Why is WP Safe Mode making the issue disappear just by being activated?
Any clues?

I tried checking the theme change option and choosing various themes, but the theme choices were always ignored.
]]>Hello,
Thanks for great plugin.
Is it possible to check if safe mode is currently on in functions.php and disable plugin specific codes (plugin we disabled)? Thanks
Hi,
I was trying to troubleshoot an issue. So I used Wp Safe Mode to disable all plugins and re-enable them one at a time. I gone through a few plugins and encounter no issue. Then on my next step I enable three plugins then press save. Error popped up and I no longer be able to access my site. The error message is:
routing_app
not defined for C_Component_Factory
This is urgent, please help to get my access back. Thanks
]]>Hi Marcus,
I installed the plugin for the first time and use it to troubleshoot. I have switch my theme to twenty-twenty. After testing, I disabled the Safe Mode but my original theme did not return. I tried deactivate the plugin, but my theme was still not showing. Please advise.
Hi Marcus
Not all plugins are showing anymore when I select all, like Events Manager/Pro, Elementor etc. https://d.pr/i/LY7UEp
Thank you
]]>It has worked but now after activating again I should install some file which didn’t work.
I reinstalled plugin but can’t activate this without error (not even email goes to admin).
Now I can not even upload a plugin without getting an error immediately
i have a problem with safe mode when i turn it to only me.
At first i find a message
“Your site is currently loading the following Drop-Ins, which are files that are loaded automatically in your wp-contents folder. These files are loaded before our own loader and therefore cannot be disabled unless you delete or rename the following files:
advanced-cache.php
”
which is related to wp rocket plugin
i deactivate the plugin and remove the file but still can not enable safe mode only me
but it works for whole site
]]>I tried to use this today. After activating, I went to my dashboard to access the WP Safe Mode menu, as stated in the installation instructions, and no menu exists. I also tried to access Enable Safe Mode via the Admin Bar and nothing is there either.
