Both start and end dates for work history are using the “dtstart” field. End dates also appear to be wrongly tagged, datetime and title are todays date, not the date content.
End date example from my page:
2005
Start date example from my page:
1996
Start date seems fine, but end date is wrong.
This is upsetting Google.
Can’t do either!
Also ‘Show Advanced Options’ flashes on then immediately off so i can’t access it. Any suggestions please?
in includes/admin.php in the function summary_editor, the id passed to wp_editor includes brackets. This is no longer allowed.
replace the line for versions 3.3 and greater with
wp_editor( $summary, 'wp_resume_options_summary', array( 'textarea_name' => 'wp_resume_options[summary]') );
getting a memory error when trying to save options. Is this plugin still actively being updated? I noticed that it hasn’t been tested with my current version of wordpress.
I have a contact form on my site, would like to just link that in the header “Contact Info” portion. I put in some standard HTML (a href, etc.), but it seems to freak the plugin out a bit, and while it works after the first save, it gets removed when saved again.
Thoughts?
In the contact information section of WP Resume “Options”, I tried adding a new contact row as “Other”, but with a URL as the value.
(“Other” -> “https://someurl/document.pdf”)
Now, the WP Resume plugin doesn’t work any more, and throws an error saying “Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 72 bytes) in /home/kunalashar/public_html/gayatrivasan/wp-content/plugins/wp-resume/includes/boilerplate-classes/options.php on line 102”
Removing the offending entry from “Contact Information” doesn’t work, and the error continues to remain.
From where in the Resume code or database can I remove the “bad” contact entry?
Thanks in advance.
All of a sudden this is giving me a “500 Internal Server Error” after updating to WordPress 4.0. I doubt this plugin will be updated, it’s been over a year since it was active.
1.Want to have multiple resumes on your site? Yes!
2.The java(I think) problem clicking on the advanced options opens and closes immediately
Hi.
So I have just installed the plugin and filled all the info.
Everything works great but I have my information missing.
It looks like this:

There was no setup required really, so I do not think I messed up something :-).
What could be the issue?
I tried deleting polish letters from the fields but it did not help.
ooh. by the way. I also have an issue with toggles like ‘Show Advanced Options’. They show and hide instantly.
Hey there,
first of all, thank you for the plugin; it’s been awesome. However, since I updated to WP 3.9, when I put the short code [wp-resume] in a page or post, the whole content disappears, except the title.
Here’s where it used to work fine: https://behrouz.jafarnezhad.com/about/
Thanks a lot in advance.
Hi. WP Resume is a great plugin. I use it for storing my Portfolio.
I want to copy the WP Resume plugin data to another site and I am intermediate level at MySQL, comfortable enough to export a .SQL and then import it.
Can you direct me to the correct table to use?

I am trying to show my CV using the shortcode [wp-resume] on a page but nothing happens. I am the only user of my wordpress site.
Any solution or idea?

When I try to save the options, I get an error: PHP memory limit exceeded. I’m on a shared plan at DreamHost and I know that there is a hard limit of around 64M of PHP memory even if I modify the php.ini file.
My questions are: is it normal that WP-resume needs so much PHP memory to save the options? If so, what can I do? This is very frustrating because I can’t reorder my CV.
Is it possible to display the resume content in different templates for different users?
Consider this case.
I am building a resume website where user will see 4 resume templates (apart from your default template) to chose from namely R1, R2, R3 and R4. Now if there are two users A and B where A selects Template R1 and B selects Template R3, then is it possible to show the resume content in those template style that are selected by that particular user? I mean is there any possibility so that I can create 4 different templates to display the resume content and the user’s resume will be displayed in the format of the template that is selected by him?
Thanks,
Akhilesh
Hi, What a great plug in but I can’t get it to display my resume. It installed successfully, and I added a new page and inserted [wp_resume] in the body of the page. I just added one job and filled out the options (name, email, etc.) and saved everything. I also chose URL rewriting. When I loaded the page with [wp_resume] on it, nothing displayed.
I don’t know how else to troubleshoot this. Would you be able to provide some suggestions. I’m not a web developer; I’m a writer. /Jayne
I am having the same problem as reported here:

I’ve tried uploading the .zip file as is via the dashboard, and uploading the unzipped ‘wp-resume’ folder to the ‘themes’ directory via FTP. Nothing would seem to get this theme to work.
Am I missing something?
Thanks for this great plugin. I have even tried using Zotpress with this and it works great!
However, the position+section order set in the resume menu seems to work for the cv page, but NOT for individual section page. The order in the individual section page seems to follow the Published dates instead.
Consider the following two links:
# section page
people.oii.ox.ac.uk/hanteng/sections/conferences/
# whole/cv page
people.oii.ox.ac.uk/hanteng/cv/
The position order is not consistent for the above two pages for the section of conferences.
The user-side band-aid hack is to manually change the Published dates, but I guess that it might be an easy fix. So I report this minor but a bit annoying issue here.
Amazing plugin! I had some questions:
1. Is this plugin compatible with BuddyPress?
– Could I get my users to connect their LinkedIn accounts to generate their resumes (similar to BP Resume)
2. Is there an option to email/print/PDF the resume that is outputted?
Please advise and excellent work!

Hi !
I used to add resume using WP Resume on my website.
However, since the latest updates on WP and WP Resume, I can access to options only. There is nowhere to add experiences to my resume : the menu properly disapeared !
What should I do ?
Someone else had this issue, but I didn’t want to add to the thread as it was already marked as resolved.
I’m having issues getting WP Resume to output the Name, Contact, and Summary fields. This occurs when using a custom resume.php and the default resume.php. It also occurs when using a default theme (such as Twenty Eleven) and a custom theme.
In another thread, someone mentioned creating a new user resolved the issue for them. So that’s what I did yet I’m still unable to get any of the user defaults to appear.
When doing a print_r on the template variable, I notice in the output that the values associated with the name/contact/summary are blank.
[user_defaults] => Array
(
[name] =>
[summary] =>
[contact_info] => Array
(
)
[order] => Array
(
)
[hide-donate] =>
)
They seem to be saving as I can see the values in the Resume Options. Any suggestions as to what could be wrong?

I’m having trouble editing resume.php to format my resume the way I would like.
Perhaps this plugin is the wrong solution, for my needs, but I like the idea of keeping jobs as separate entities in the WP database. Unlike more traditional resume’s, as a Lighting designer, my resume is more a list of show names with some simple info about the show such as theatre, director, and date.
I am trying to make a resume like this:
Position Details Date
Position 2 Details Date
Position 3 Details Date
or preferably like this
Position Detail A Detail B Date
Position 2 Detail A Detail B Date
Position 3 Detail A Detail B Date
I just can’t seem to figure out the right combination of editing the php and css files to place the details in the same line as the position and date
