Post headings are defined as “H2” in the slider. How can I change this?

Plugin is not responsive – Neve theme. Fine on desktop all browsers but mobile and tablet posts exceed screen width

Using Neve theme – I am using WP Responsive Recent Post Slider. Very happy with the simplicity and easy interface – does exactly what I want.

However – it’s not responsive on mobile and tablet. Is there a setting I am missing? The theme works perfectly with all other plugins

Thank you for this great plugin. It works very good.

But I have two things that bother me a little.

1st point
Whenever I reload the page, the image in the slider flickers. It seems to me as if the slider is loaded twice. I use the Blocksy theme. You can see this in Video1. I load the page several times in the video.

2nd point
On the PC (desktop) and on the mobile phone, the image is displayed over the entire width. Unfortunately, this is not the case on the tablet. Here you can see a white strip on the right side. See Video 2. In Elementor I found out that it occurs at a pixel width of 700px to approx. 767px. My images are 2560px x 1000px in size. Videos are here located.

It would be nice if you could give me an idea what the problem could be.

Thank you for your great plugin. I have one little problem. My image are too small in the slider. How can i set the size. If i try the shortcode “media_size=“full“ it doesn’t solve the problem. My images for my posts (featured image) are 2560x1000px.

Sticky posts are still sorted in datetime desc.

I love your plugin as it’s very configurable and really fits my need. The only thing that’s missing is preserving the html in the displayed content.

I did try the solution you propose (comment out a function in wppsac-function.php), as described here: https://prnt.sc/i4hJehd_x8OR

The only problem is that it does indeed keep the html, but it also stops truncating the text at the word count specified in the shortcode. The result is that the complete contents of each post are shown, giving the carousel window the height of the longest post, which is very unesthetic.

So, is it possible to keep the html, but also to truncate the text at the specified length ?

You can see the carousel on the homepage of the link I provided. Right now I kept the html filtered, because it’s very ugly otherwise!

Hi, the slider flickers while my homepage is loading — i.e. it loads once, then disappears for a short while, then it loads again for good. Is there a way to prevent this? Thanks

Hi Guys,

I use the slider in 3 columns over a 3 column layout (see website).

Currently, the slider shows 2 columns from a screen width of <766px, 1 column from <638px. That doesn’t quite fit the design of my site.

Can I customize the two breakpoints? How and where?

Since I updated my site to WordPress 6.4.2, I got the message:
“PHP Warning: Undefined array key “anylc_nonce” in /wp-content/plugins/wp-responsive-recent-post-slider/wpos-analytics/includes/class-anylc-admin.php on line 268″, and the site is not working till I deactivate the plugin, is there anyway to solve it?

I was wondering if it is possible to display multiple post types on the latest posts carousel?

I am trying to do so using the following shortcode (documents is a custom post type):

[recent_post_carousel post_type="post,page,documents" speed="5000"]

This seems to break the carousel, as it does not display with this.

Are multiple post types supported?

I’d like to use your plugin in different locations in my site, but for that I’d need to be able to style them differently, and right now any CSS changes are applied uniformly to all carousels or sliders of the same design.

I suppose there’s no way to specify a CSS class directly in the shortcode, or did I miss that ? It would be nice for a future release!

I’m using your plugin for several years on this website and I guess since a recent update, the excerpt doesn’t display the html anymore. Meaning, I pu some <em> for italic words in excerpt, before it was displayed in the carrousel and not anymore. Any solution?

I love your plugin, which is both very simple and very configurable through CSS.

I have one major problem though: autoplay always stays on, regardless of what I specify in the shortcode: whether I enter autoplay=”false” or autoplay=”true”, it is always working.

Moreover, if the parameters “autoplay_interval” or “speed” are entered with any value, they both go at maximum speed. For example, autoplay interval=”100″ or autoplay_interval=”1000″ will always swap slides at around .5 second interval, ignoring the number entered. If I omit the parameter, the default value of ~4 seconds is used. The same is valid for the “speed” parameter.

I also tried the site in troubleshooting mode to verify that the problem wasn’t caused by a conflict with another plugin, but this is not the case: the behavior is the same if yours is the only plugin used, with a default theme.

Note: On the actual site, i managed to slow down autoplay by editing the file “wppsac-carousel.php”, and setting a very high interval value as default, which works. Setting autoplay=”false” as default doesn not work, though.

How do you disable the image in carousel?

I don’t want it to be loaded at all.

Slider works well on Edge and Chrome, but on Firefox it jams whem returning to the slider page after clicking a link. Firefox version is newest and tested this on multiple computers. Any idea what could cause this?

I have one question: How can I start the autoplay of the slider not before the slider is in the viewport? I know it must be possible with intersection observer api or the like but my skills are to poor to address the sliders autoplay function ….
