I noticed something when editing a recipe. If my Equipment items are for example “pan” and “Spoon” and I try to correct it to “Pan” and “Spoon”, it won’t save the change. This only seems to happen with Equipment Name, not with Equipment Notes, Ingredients Name or Ingredients Notes – those seems to work just fine.
]]>Hello team,
I have just found out that the “Jump to comments” button isn’t working.
When I click on “Lascia un commento” I can see that the link in the browser changes to https://scriccia.com/riso-per-sushi-facile-veloce-e-soprattutto-perfetto/#commentform, but the view doesn’t actually jump to the comment section.
How can I solve this issue?
Many thanks,
Marta

I would like to know where to setup email address for the notification when someone submits a review on the recipe. Please advise. Thank you

I’m using WordPress 6.6.2 and Litespeed caching plugin v6.5.2. I’ve flushed all caches. It happens on all the recipe posts. Example: https://eetpraat.nl/wordpress/index.php/minestronesoep/
]]>Since applying your latest update, my 404 log has been flooded with errors for wp-recipe-maker, on literally EVERY PAGE OR POST on my site, regardless of whether or not that page contains a recipe. The 404 errors are all looking for
”/wp-content/plugins/wp-recipe-maker/templates/divi/styles/style.min.css”
I have re-saved the permalink structure as your FAQ suggests. I have purged cache at every level possible (Autoptimize, WP-Super-Cache, NGINX, and Cloudflare). Still the error persists.
This has never happened with one of your updates before, but it is so bad, we are considering dropping your plugin altogether. What do I need to do to fix this error?

I had recipes that I don’t know how they got deleted by mistake. I renewed all the posts but the reception is empty. Everything written in WP Recipe Maker is gone. Can it be restored somehow? There are 8 recipes left and 150 are unusable
Good morning Brecht, me again – just wondering if there is there any way to add alt text to images in the recipe as Yoast is flagging that they are missing.
Thanks

]]>Hi there, I have just started using your fantastic plugin, and really love it. However, it is throwing up a ‘failed to initalize’ plugin warning at the lefthand side of the recipe posts.
When I deactivate the plugin the warning disappears and the recipes are still shown, but not in the nice display.
I am using WordPress 6.6.2 and the Generatepress Theme.
Any thoughts on how I handle this?

I was trying to use this in a roundup list.

We have found that they do work for some users and browsers and not for others. For example, they work on my Chrome Browser but not on my Microsoft Edge browser. For another they do not work on most of his browsers (Chrome, Edge, or Firefox) but do work on Opera. He is located in Florida. I am located in Maine. I have cleared all the caches, but no luck. However, the buttons do work on the Print Recipe pages. Any ideas?

]]>Hi…
I just cheched some Websites using your plugin via “Rich Snippet tester” from google and saw that given reviews are sent there individually and by user-name and even with the given comments. Whereas on my website only “type”, “rating value” and “rating count” are transmitted. In the settings I have “Include Review Metadata” set to always. What is currently not set up correctly?

I have a website with “course” and “cuisine” custom taxonomies.
Rather than use wprm_course and wprm_cuisine, can a recipe inherit the parent post’s custom taxonomies?
I primarily need this for schema markup. I would like the “course” and “cuisine” terms to be used for the schema markup picked up by Google.

Is this functionality available out of the box, or do I need to make custom code for this?

]]>Hi team,
My food blog that has been loosing visualizations and clicks during the last year or so. Something I have realized is that when searching on Google, none of the featured images is shown (when they were in the past), which has reduced dramatically the CTR.
When checking the structured data all seems to be okey, so the rich snipped should be working fine. I am not understanding if the loose of images is due to a technical error or some sort of penalization.
Example: Searching this recipe?https://thecookinglab.es/receta-brownie-con-frambuesas/?, there’s no image in the rich result, though I have an image in the Yoast SEO structured data output –?https://pasteboard.co/4SNrHdQfby9q.png?and Schema MarkUp Testing Tool.
Thank you in advance.
