Thank you for making this plug in available, it’s exactly what I’m looking for. I understand it’s no longer in development but hope you might be able to advise on this query.
Is there anyway to view the author or type archive as a reading list rather than in the archive page? Ideally what I’d like to do is have a URL showing the “Batman” type works as a reading list and another one showing the “Superman” type works as a reading list.

Firstly a very useful plugin, thanks!
1) I wonder if there’s a way users can search the list. Particularly when the reading list is longer than one page, which means the user has to brows every page and use the browser’s search facility page by page.
2) Or at least be able to see all the books by an Author or Type. At the moment clicking on the Author’s name or Types links (under the book entry) goes to a page with “Error 404 – Not Found”
3) Can you add a feature to sort on the book’s author (currently it allows to sort on the post’s author)

Hi there, I have seen this issue posted already, but couldn’t see an answer.
My site uses a global side bar along the right side. If I use the plug in layout the page stretches across this sidebar. I can use my sites theme & layout but I prefer the plug in layout.
Is there a way to prevent it from stretching the full width of the page?

I’m not sure what has happened. A few days ago when I posted, the Reading List plugin was working (though the featured cover image would not show up in a single post). Then today I looked at the site and I was getting 404 messages for every page. I scratched my brains out for a couple of hours. Then I deactivated all the plugins. It turned out that WP Reading List was throwing the error as soon as I activated it. :-/

Your plugin gives me enough that I can do something like that. My question is whether there is the ability to search for a book and its cover, author, etc… directly using its title, author or ISBN and so on and forth. I have used the “Now Reading” plugin and it used to be able to do that (though it appears to be broken right now)…
Also, is it possible to add, just like the link above, a little floater above the book to indicated, reviewed, reading, read, etc…?

When I open an individual Works post, I see my review and the book cover, but then I also am seeing a search box, my Pages, Archives, and Categories below it.
I don’t have these set to display on any other pages or plugins and I do not have any sidebars active. Is this something my theme (currently Stargazer) is doing, or is there a way to hide this content?

I was getting the 404 error mentioned by another user. Switching my permalinks took care of the 404, but now I just get a blank page for both the main /reading-list/ view and for the individual work views.
Any ideas?

I have several books already organized as regular posts, so it would be nice to have such posibility to migrate to this plugin.
I would love to be able have a work type be shown, maybe between the title and the author.
i.e. – Book/Article/etc – maybe just another text entry so it can be custom?
