The design tab is very buggy. I try setting colours but various parts of the proposals keep changing when not expected. This plugin has a lot of potential but nothing much happening with it right now…

This plugin seems really interesting! Would it be possible for you to make the strings translatable? It would be quite nice to get this working from the plugin in itself. There is some spots in the plugin in itself but things like “Total:” are not there that is pretty important.

Also if it would be possible to get the € to appear at the end of the sum it would be nice. It’s the normal way to show currencies in EU area.

I have a somehow inverted approach to this …. Can I place proposal interface as a form on frontpage? So that a user/guest can propose a project according to some form fields and text. Once recieved we as a team can review the proposed project and fx invite for a meeting > take notes > add to a contract template > specify further > and then have a fixed contract that all parties enter… Maybe integration over WooCommerce for online payments.

Idea is an investor site, where pennyless people can propose their brilliant patented ideas…

I’ve looked for a long time for a proposal solution on my website, and I just found your plugin, so I have installed it on my staging website, and I’m doing some tests. I have a couple of questions that I couldn’t find in your documentation or website:

1. As I will be sending proposals intended for one potential client only, I don’t want search engines to crawl the generated links for each proposal. How can I do this? I know that I can publish the proposal with the ‘password protected’ option of WordPress, but in that case, I will need to send on another email to the potential clients the passwords, which is not practical.
2. Is it possible to use Generateblocks to create custom content and design my own sections?

just realized, that when “View Count” is activated, it will add it not only to “Proposals” type, but too all post-types (Posts, Pages, Products etc.).

Could you please to show on proposal post-type only, or provide a selector for this?

Hi, I wrote a support mail and got swiftly reply back from you guys, however my issue is still there. And I still can’t resolve it.

I have let A2hosting check out my site and server settings etc. I use WP SMTP plugin to handle all outgoing mails on my website. This works perfect with other plugins and and all other functions like contactform, booking conformations to send out mails from my website. But both me and the hostingprovider can’t figure out why WP Proposal isn’t sending out any emails.

We have checked all of the suggested settings for WP Proposal, confirmed that these are all correct, after clicking on ‘send proposal’ a succes message is showing….but nothing is been sent out?

It would be nice if you guys can make it work also with WP SMTP or similar plugins, because sending out mails from [email protected] is only going to cause spam issues.

Is there a solution for this? Or will this be addressed in next update?

Now I just use the link and send out an email manually myself, but I need to check the status inside the wp admin each time to see if the proposal is accepted or still pending, since no notification mails are being sent.

Hi! The plugin seems great. Is there a compatible plugin for billing or invoicing?

Every time I try to edit the form the fields of the form keep multiplying. If I try deleting them, more come back after I click update. It’s a new site set-up, using WordPress default theme, Twenty Twenty. I doubt it’s a plugin issue, I only have these plugins installed:
`Flamingo – Version 2.2.2
Gutenberg – Version 11.2.1
HubSpot All-In-One Marketing – Forms, Popups, Live Chat – Version 8.4.5
Jetpack – Version 10.0
WordPress Importer – Version 0.7
WP Proposals – Version 2.2

Not sure what is happening with the WP Proposals.

None of the meta fields are showing up on the proposal page other than the Pricing Section. The Scope of service, addnl recommendation and timeline sections are not being shown anymore.

So, the email that gets triggered. Its not showing any spaces between paragraph’s/. My email template has 3 paragraphs, and unfortunately they all go out as one.

Other HTML tags like href seems to be working well.

So the email that get triggered when I send a proposal is from [email protected]

How can I change this?

My default emails are all being sent using MailPoet.

I have realized that WP Proposals is bringing its own “Client” type.

I would rather like to use the default user-base, because my marketing-tool (Groundhogg) and WooCommerce as well as membership-tool are using the default user-data.

Any chance to connect WP-Proposals with the default user-base?

I contacted you to tell you about my problem for which the recipient of a proposal must accept it twice to validate it.

You suggested to me that it would definitely be a problem coming from another plugin. So I deactivated all my plugins except wp proposal and the problem still remains.

Attached is a project created without any plugin other than wpproposal.

Could you help me please ?

First of all I have to tell you that this plugin is just great, I was looking for it for a long time. I can’t wait for you to offer a professional one.

But I have a problem when I submit my proposal it is necessary to validate (sign) twice to block it, I do not understand where the problem comes from.

I suggest you take the test by validating the attached proposal. Maybe you can see where the problem is coming from.
