When commenting on a prayer request, an incorrect time period is displayed. This happens only in the comments on the prayer wall. The date is displayed correctly before publishing, but on the prayer wall, it says for example, “54 years ago.”

Many thanks for this great plugin I did need for a while …

Trying to be efficient in prayers management I put a link in the admin mail template leading to the admin pannel management page but the html code is kinda sanitized (e.g. quotation marks are modified as /”) so the link doesn’t work.

By the way, this is also true for apostrophes in the text wich become /’

How to fix it please ?

What is the difference between WP Prayer and WP Prayer II?

Hello! Is there a way to allow someone to make their request private if they do not wish to share details publicly?

Or better yet, is the prayer wall seen only by authorized site members only?

So I installed the pluing ad set it up, but, when I try to submit a request nothing happend. No email, not showing in the prayer request dashboard, nothing.

After praying that God would help me to find a suitable working prayer request app or plugin to add to my website, He led me to your WP Prayer II plugin. I fell in love with it at first site. It is exactly what I had envisioned having and I thank God for leading me to your Prayer website and this plugin.

I have installed it on my personal website. You can see the start of the still under construction Prayer Request page I have started at https://theloveofgod.org/prayer-request/ if you’d like to see it.

I have placed the first prayer request on the page myself, but it is not displayed there at present and I believe it is because it is awaiting moderation/approval. I did add both plugin shortcodes, [upr_list_prayers], and [upr_form] in that order. I have also properly adjusted the settings for the plugin to the best of my knowledge.

I have searched for quite a few minutes for how to approve the prayer requests but have so far been unsuccessful in finding how to approve or deny the prayer request submissions under moderation.

Would you mind kindly guiding me to the information I need in order to approve or deny the prayer requests that are submitted?

with wordpress 5.8.1 and WP Pryer II version 2.2.6 I get critical errors:

A PHP session was created by a session_start() function call. This interferes with REST API and loopback requests. The session should be closed by session_write_close() before making any HTTP requests.

AND

The REST API is one way WordPress, and other applications, communicate with the server. One example is the block editor screen, which relies on this to display, and save, your posts and pages.

The REST API request failed due to an error.
Error: cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 10001 milliseconds with 0 bytes received (http_request_failed)

Deactivating the WP Prayer II plugin solves the issue but I would like to use it still. Could you kindly investigate?

I’m not sure if there is a place to make requests. If there is, please direct me there, otherwise here is my request.
Could you make it possible for admin to allow the display of someones first name. It seems rather impersonal to pray for someone without using their name.

I am updating the WP Prayer plugin to the WP Prayer 2 plugin because of issues that I am having with the original. I added the shortcode to the page and I can see the form but I cannot see the prayer list. Where the prayer list is I see the following message:

Notice: Undefined variable: current_url in /www/wp-content/plugins/wp-prayers-request/inc/upr_shortcode.php on line 1124

Is this a setting issue on my end or some code to be updated? I appreciate any help you can offer to resolve this.

I do not understand the difference between WP prayer and prayer II

I have installed both because the descriptions do make them sound that they have different functions.

I also do not understand in WP Prayer the difference between prayer and praise and cannot find an explanation.

I also do not understand how my page editors can receive notification and answer prayers.

I want the prayer visibility to be optional, and I want prayers by category listed on different pages.

This seems like a great and useful plugin. Perhaps if someone could write a complete and detailed instruction on the whats, hows, and whys page it would clear up a lot of questions.

I would sincerely appreciate some help.

Hello Kim, I have installed your plugin on my development site to complete the reviews before deploying. I have a recurring error when I approve a prayer that is currently showing as pending.
When a prayer is entered, it is set to default to pending. When i review and approve, the fault below is thrown. Also, If it is Approved and I Disapprove there is no error. If I re-approve the prayer, it once again throws the error below.
How do I fix this?

As The plugin is now translated into Dutch, I want to use a Dutch message to the user who submitted a prayer request. Is it possible to use the name of the author of the request in the message with a shortcode?
Like the English version of the default message:

Is there an option coming where the person submitted the prayer can also close the request?

Was wondering if the Praise report function is going to come back as in WP Prayer. It is a great function. Also on the Admin email when separated by a comma do you add a space or run it all together.

Love the plugin from what we’ve seen so far
but pagination is NOT working. How could it be fixed?

Currently testing out your plugin but have come to a design issue.

I’ve tried WP Pray and WP Pray II and both have the same problem where the PRAY button is on the top right and is placed over the text.

Hence it is blocking the text. Is it supposed to be this way? Is there any way to fix this so it does not block the text?

I know the plugin is stated to work up to 4.75. Any updates for 4.8 in the works? I tried to add the shortcode to a page and save as a draft and the top of the admin page had a conflict, breaking the display. I could go to Pages and select the page and edit again. The page was also displaying duplicate forms even though one shortcode was inserted.
