If I click the title of the testimonial (in my case) however, it then redirects as I would like the “read more” option to do and displays the entire testimonial on its own page.

Hello,
I just can’t get this to work. I am using WP 4.2.2 with WPPF 0.3.2. I have the short code [wppf] in the body of the page and the category set in the plugin and on the posts I want to see on that page, but the page still displays all post categories. It doesn’t even limit the number of posts displayed to 10, instead shows all posts. It doesn’t seem to be doing anything really, no changes at all to any pages. I have no idea what I am doing wrong here. Please help.
Hello! Your plug-in works beautifully! Thank you ??
However, I’m listing posts on my page, but would like to actually like to hide the post title and only show the post content. How should I proceed?
Thank you!
Hello!
The plugin works well to separate the two categories onto separate pages, but when that feature works, my primary header menu disappears!
Any ideas for how to get that function back?
Thanks!

I think this plugin is great. And I am fairly new with WordPress PHP. But I have a programming background. My question though, is if you have a slider, and you select one slide it will take you to a Single Posts page. Then, the Taxonomy of the slider is missing in the previous and next posts on the single post’s page. Could I use this plugin to somehow endow Single Posts page with a single category filter somehow? Help and criticism is mutually appreciated. Or if there would be a simpler way–then please enlighten me. I am using twentyfourteen by the way.
hey,
I dont know why, but I have checked on diffrent pages tags and categories. However it only show posts only from one tag. Why is it happening?
Second thing. Am I able not to show content on filtered posts? When I delete or change content class etc nothing happens. When I actually pick template with thumb, I dont see thumb..
Thanks in advance,
best regards
Hi, I really like the idea of this plug-in but I also am having trouble getting it working. WP 3.9.1 with Hueman theme. This is the only active plugin.
I have an Announcements page with the [wppf] shortcode. I’ve set the settings for that page to display only category Announcements yet I still get posts that are Uncategorized displayed on the page. Not sure what I’m missing.
Thanks
Hi Oleg,
I have been using this indispensable plug-in for over 3 years, and appreciate your good work.
With WP 3.9, I can still display the settings page, but the individual page settings do not roll open. The plug-in logic is apparently still working, but I cannot adjust the individual page settings to make changes.
Let me know if you need more information, and thank you.

Hi there,
I cannot get this plugin to work. I believe I followed all the instructions correctly but no filter menu appears at the top of my blog page.
I set up a filter for my Blog page in the settings panel and selected my categories. I added the shortcode [wppf] to my Blog page (note: this is the only content in the page editor box since it’s a blog list page that feeds all posts to the page). All my blog posts have categories assigned.
I’m still working locally on MAMP so I cannot link to the site. I have screenshots of my settings but I cannot find a way to insert them into this message.
Please advise.
Thanks in advance!
Jennifer
Hi there is it possible to filter by custom taxonomies?
I have three categories (for instance A, B and C) and in each category I have added some subcategories (A1, A2, A3, etc). When I post a message in one of the subcategories (for instance A3) the message is also displayed in all the other subcategories (A1 and A2) of the main category (A). I have not published to that main category, only A3. Is this a bug? Can you have a look? Thanks.
Hi Oleg, I wonder if it is possible to add some post meta-information underneath every post title? Just like with the post itself. So date, category and author. Or is this the same request as “Placeholders for Post Date, Author and Category”? Thanks.
Hi, I am unable to get posts filter to work unless I have the page template set to “full-width” which isn’t what I want for these posts. The “default template” seems to show all posts regardless of tag or category.
I am running WP 3.8 and Pitch Premium theme with WP Posts Filter Version 0.3.2.
Help!! This plugin is exactly what I need!
Hi there,
great plugin and thanks for sharing it.
I was wondering if there is a possibility to have placeholders for Post Date, Author and Category to use in teh templates.
I have tried using #post_date# but that displays “1 May 2013” for all my post reagrdless of when they have actually been published.
thanks
I noticed this in WP 3.6.1 already but never gave it any attention. Here is the issue:
My admin area double column layout is too wide. Whenever I add a new blog post or a new page (or edit them) the first column, of my standard two column layout, is too wide. This means that my publish button in the second column is off screen. I need to stretch my browser (either IE9 or Chrome) to my second screen to make the button (and column) visible. My default screen is standard laptop, 1366 x 768 pixels in size.
It seems that WPPF is the reason; when I deactivate the WPPF plugin the editing posts/pages column is sized properly to show both 1st and 2nd column.
Any ideas?
Hi all
Can you tell me where to find the css to edit these templates? I’ve looked at both and don’t find the classes within the plugin files.
Thanks,
Frank
It would be great to be able to select whether to display a list of excerpts (as it is now) or the full content of posts.
That would enable users to override other settings and push posts to a particular page.
I am trying to use your plugin as a work around for a theme overriding the Reading setting and failing to display posts, so I was trying to use the [wppf] shortcode to put my posts on a page and the best I could do was display the list of excerpts.
Hello, I’ve installed the plugin on a dev multisite environment (on a MAC) but I am not able to make it working. I added the shortcode in the desired page and set the categories to filter in the page section of plugin settings. But nothing happens: all posts with all categories are shown. Any suggestion is welcome. Thanks
Hi Oleg,
Since I like your plugin and I will install it in a live environment for dutch users, I have made a Dutch (nl_NL) PO/MO file. If you are interested, let me know so I can upload it somewhere.
With
WP version 3.6.1 and
WP Posts Filter 0.3
My categorized posts don’t show correctly formatted. The column is too narrow. I dived into the html code of the specific post/page and saw the following:
A WP Posts Filter post starts with:

Heading

Lorem ipsum dolor sit...

while a standard WP 3.6.1 post is formatted:

Lorem ipsum dolor sit...

I understand that the class wppf-post-wrapper is needed to start the whole thing. But I cannot find any reference in the CSS. Is that by design? Being a dummy or something?
It seems the
tag is misused in your plugin. Can you check this?
When updating to version 0.3, all my posts disapear and are not displayed anymore. Pages are blank. The settings for the pages are unchanged and are still there. I tried to re-save the settings and also to deactivate then re-activate the plugin but nothing works. Not sure what else to do? I had to revert back to version 0.2 which works fine.
Hello guis!
First of all thank you for developing this. It really helps.
I installed it and I’ve been playing with it.
I would like to set the thumbnail size of posts that are on a page, but as I can’t use php in the plugin template, I think It’s not possible to do it. I would like to use the_post_thumbnail('my-new-thumbnail-size');
. And I have some other thumbnail sizes in home, so it’s not this by default.
Maybe it’s possible to do it in another way?
Thank you!
Your plugin works but stops nextgen gallery from working, is there any way to resolve it?
Hi,
Is there a way to make this work where I can exclude all posts that contain a particular tag? I can’t just uncheck that particular tag because a post may include other tags that are being included.

Hello Oleg, the plugin is not working. Installation went very well I did fllow the instruction as marked but still not working. I set up the setting for the page I wanted to place it: https://brooksacevedo.net/our-blog/ and I have only have 2 post categories “Business Law and Services” as you will see in the link above there are 5 posts with graphics and the rest with no graphics. The ones with the graphics are category “Business Law” and the one with no graphics are from category “Business Law” but I just want to show in that page “Business Law” category. I placed the code: [wppf heading_tag=”h2″ heading_class=”entry-title” content_tag=”div” content_class=”entry-content” per_page=”10″]ge=”10″], can you please tell me what I might be doing wrong?
