I have troubles creating a PDF file from a post:
Specs: the site has SSL (HTTPS)
A custom page lists posts and a post has a PDF icon to convert the page to PDF. WP Post 2 PDF plugin is used. Most posts have password protection which is mandatory.
Issue:
1.) When a post is password protected, some posts don’t generate PDF;
2.) Sometimes, a post will generate an incomplete PDF, without generating a table;
3.) after some time, certain posts—not all (pass-protected, too) generate PDF successfully, complete with the tables;
4.) None-password protected (Public) posts generate complete PDF’s perfectly with no problems;
5.) A development mirror of the site with no HTTPS generates PDF of any kind of post perfectly, password protected or not;
6.) Updating the post as public, generate PDF, then update the post as password protected, and then generating another PDF, renders a complete PDF.
Any advice? :\ I don’t know what to look at because the plugin isn’t “completely” broken or not working since it works and it doesn’t work. This is deeo Plugin + HTTPS + WP-password-protect issue that’s very weird…
Hi,
I am currently building a real estate website and I need a plugin just like yours. It works perfectly so far but it does not display all the images and certain content features.
Is that something that is maybe available in the pro version? Definitely something looked for a lot by many website builders.
Thanks

Hi there,
I am having issues with white space on the website link below.

I used this popular plugin but i can not get the point how to remove the white space in the pdf. Kindly click on pdf icon and see the white space before image show up.
Any help?
Thanks in Advance
Responding to popular demand, I’ve forked WP Post to PDF to (the originally named) WP Post to PDF Enhanced.
Version 1.0.0 of the Enhanced plugin is functionally equivalent to my unofficial release of 2.4.0 of the original, with a couple minor bugfixes (more log noise quieted down) and internal name changes.
If you decide to migrate, be aware that you should copy your existing WP post to PDF options either from your database directly or via the admin panel, as there is currently no mechanism in place to do this migration for you. Likewise, as directory names are changed, any custom image files, etc. will need to be copied to the new locations (e.g., /uploads/wp-post-to-pdf is now /uploads/wp-post-to-pdf-enhanced), and if you have made any theme modifications for custom placement of the PDF icon, you’ll need to adjust those files accordingly to point to the right location(s). More detail is covered in the FAQ.
Finally, please be clear when posting support requests as to which plugin you are using, and try not to post requests here for support on the Enhanced version, and vice-versa. I’ll do my best to respond in a timely manner.
Enjoy!

and found this.
$enc=’UniJIS-UTF16-H’;
$cidinfo=array(‘Registry’=>’Adobe’,’Ordering’=>’Japan1′,’Supplement’=>5);
include(dirname(__FILE__).’/uni2cid_aj16.php’);

Is there a way to have a custom upload of a header image in another location through manipulation of my functions.php code or in my CSS. Or is there a way to turn off the header completely?
Love the plugin, but not being able to change the header would be a deal breaker.
Hi,
I’m using Versión 2.3.1.
I have problems with cache. If I make a PDF of a pages wich have the same title, the result of PDF is the same.

How can I solved? Is it possible to desactive the cache wich I think could be the problem?

Hi,
I’m having a gallery portfolio, where images are given out like that:
.
When I click on the span, the class name will be changed.
It will look like this
after clicking.
Now I want to include custom css into the pdf printout, to not display those spans with a specific class.
Can anyone help me what and where to put in the custom css?
Thanks.
Mazey
I cannot get the plugin to detect either post images (Image cannot be loaded. Make sure the path is correct and image exist.) or portfolio galleries. I had to deactivate it but I would like to try again. Any suggestions? Check Work (portfolio) and Trend (post) here https://www.blue-mount.com.

I’d like to display our author’s names on the PDF, but currently it displays as their username (ie “crazyjohn233”) and I’d prefer to display their nickname (ie “John Smith”).
Could you help me make that change? I see this in the code:
‘ // Display author name is set in config
if ($this->options[‘authorDetail’]){
$author = get_the_author_meta(‘user_nicename’, $post->post_author);
$html .= ‘
Author : ‘.$author.'
’;’

I’m back as I bang my head against the wall trying to do what seems like should be a simple task: add custom css and html to the template.
I’ve been modifying wp-post-to-pdf.php to adapt my own page layout, following instructions from TCPDF.org – but the simplest css is not being applied, and am I’m having a terrible time aligning images in a simple table.
Are there any parameters specific to this plugin that might hinder some of these basic functions?
Authors, you giving support for this plugin?
Many thanks!

Heya,
Have noticed that the cache is not being cleared on updated posts like I thought it would be. Possibly because the updates don’t necessarily effect the html view of the page? Not sure, but need to be able to guarantee that when the download link is clicked, that the PDF contains the most recent info.
Entering post ID manually will be tedious – possible to add option to turn cache off all together?
best,
-jennyb
