a) theme is nice to auto update
and some plugins but not all of them.

i use woocommerce with custom changes, so i want to exclude this plugin from autoupdating.

b) best practice: wait for x days after an update shows up and then update.
i normaly wait for 24h and when the plugin was not updated during this time i installed the update.

choose how long the plugin update time is past and then auto update
