This plugin is broken, do NOT install it onto a production server. I tried to install from the plugin installer and it sat with a spinning processing wheel for 15 minutes. Trying to reach the site in an incognito window produced a blank white screen and the live site was completely gone. Tried uploading the zip with the same thing. DO NOT INSTALL if you are running 4.4.1.

The plugin works most of the time. It has a major conflict with a few popular plugins written/maintained by reputable plugin developers (namely Digital Downloads, and Awesome Support), wherein the use of PHP sessions breaks other plugins which also utilize sessions in a similar way. That’s as far as I understand it at least.

I submitted multiple support requests via the wordpress plugin support forum, as well as directly on this plugin’s GitHub page. It has been over 2 weeks, and I have not heard anything at all from the developer. It has been almost a month with no reply for another related issue.
I wish they would back up their plugin with better support. I’d be willing to pay for it if it meant stability and reliability.

Editing the index file to add custom @page formatting (left, right, size, margins) details makes this the most flexible plugin availale.
Puts out a good product, and uses a proven (DOM) engine.
Waiting for support to help with a couple of problems I can’t figure out, but it seems the developer is active in the support forum. (His commercial work looks decent also.)

You can create your own templates to design your own pdf per type of post.
The only drawbak is that it needs PHP >= 5.3 because it needs anonymous functions. As my installation is PHP 5.2 I have replaced the anonymous functions in add_filter(‘template_include’, function() {}) with a standard functions.
It seems to me that the call to add_action(‘wp_head’) for debuggin purposes doesn’t work in my installation. So, I have commented it out ??

This is just the PDF generator plugin I’ve been looking for. It’s very simple to use, and doesn’t add any bloat to the admin end.
We are using this to create product labels for our Woocommerce Products. All you have to do is install this plugin and customize your own template to create product labels. Also, remember to add the code below to your functions.php file so it will support product post type.

I’ve tried all the HTML to PDF conversion plugins there are and this one seems the best to me. It’s very light weight and gets the job done, quick and simple.
Just put a link at the end of your post and users can print and/or download your posts. Minimal coding ability required. Check out this plugin if you want to provide PDF print and download without having to accept advertisement on your site. Advertisement-free PDF conversion is hard to find, especially in such a small package. Thanks WP PDF Templates!
