Thanks, kdmurthy!
You did a fine job creating a plugin for beginning developers. I use wpPDE and wpPDE pro.
If you want the advanced functionality, you can pick up wpPDE pro, which can create plugins with widgets, actions, filters, pages, (custom) post types, meta boxes and (custom) taxonomies.
I gladly recommend wppde and can confirm it does what it says… and does it “Excellently”!
If you are looking for an easy way to create a plugin, wpPDE is the best yet!
Two thumbs up! Great Job kd!
Hello,
WpPDE is a plugin development environment. From the referral traffic on Google Analytics, I see that it is being used on some production servers. Dont use WpPDE on production servers.

Hello,
Released a new version of WpPDE plugin. WpPDE is a plugin development environment for WordPress. It allows you to create and maintain multiple plugins within WordPress itself. WpPDE includes an integrated editor (ace.ajax.org) for PHP code and a form editor for creating widget forms. A Pro version adds support for custom post types, taxonomies, metaboxes and menupages. There is online help within the plugin itself and more detailed documentation at the plugin site.
Please take a look and give feedback.
