Installation

1. Upload WP_Obituary.zip to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory or Search WP Obituary Manager in you WordPress admin dashboard add new plugin page
2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress Dashboard
3. Add your Obituary Default Thumnail and Obituary Default layout in Obituaries -> Settings
4. Visit your Obituaries page to https://www.yourdomain.com/obituaries

According to @cfitz619 the plugin works but I’ve been unable to find an article or documentation to display the Obituaries on the frontend.

Also, it would be helpful to have a user submission form managed with an additional plugin setting to set a default publication status (pending, for example).

If anyone has guidance, please let us in on the secret to this much-needed plugin!

@wptaskforce – I’ve emailed the plugin developer, too.

Obit just results in 404 error. Doesn’t look like anyone still supports this plugin but there are no other plugins available. Suggest updating and charging.
