Plugin seem to work on this wordpress version, however since it wasn’t updated in the past year and not responsing to this issues in the past year this might mean that this plugin is not under mantainace anymore, this means that it’s riscky to install it on your wordpress app.

Another bad thing about this plugin is that if you deactivate it your previous tag urls are not working anymore.

there are 3 bugs:

1)if a category has the same name of a tag it redirects in a wrong way (ie the category is show as a tag)

2)resources consuming. is ok if you put just into one site but if you have many blogs on the same server it kills the server (on 100 blogs we had to disable it because the server load passed from 2.50 to 15-18!)

3)if you disable it be sure to regenerate the previous link structure or you’ll get a 404.

Would be usefull if those 3 bugs will be fixed.

I have removed wp-no-tag-base, but still can not like the original. always redirect to the tags. can you help me?

If tag slug on Russian language – appears 404 error, when opening archive of this tag.

If open archive of this tag by link from admin panel/tags (view button) – archive opens, if refresh page – opens. But if you open same URL from another place (type hands, or copy/paste url to new window) – archive not found – display 404 error.

I also use same plugin for no category (WP No Category Base) – and all OK with Russian language in slugs.

This problem not on one my site – I have 5 WP on different hostings with same issue.

UPD

If delete plugin – URL of tags archive does not return to its original form – site.com/tag/…
