Does exactly what it says and is 1000x better than the original wordpress page manage. PLUS the plugin is free, what else could you ask for??

Nice tool, however, it disrupted my page slugs (404 errors) when associated with copies and clones in particular, and then other pages. I removed the copy/clone plugins first, no joy. When I removed the Nested Pages plugin all my slugs started working again. There’s some evidence this could have been associated with the clone plugins, however, the 404s occurred also with pages that I had organized with Nested Pages and were not associated with copies.

? Nesting/ordering is way faster than with the core UI
? ? Enables a completely different publishing workflow than possible with core: One can create pages in bulk as drafts and create a corresponding menu structure for those unpublished pages. One can “sketch out how the website eventually shall be” and then gradually fill up content, and when publishing multiple pages at once (via Bulk Edit), they will have their prepared menu position right at publication. Great workflow improvement!
? ? No reaction in support forums to any user bug reports, proposal since 2022-11. Seems abandoned or on very low maintenance. Newest reaction to any user comment that I could find was from 2022-11-03.

I’ve been using Nested Pages since 2015-2016, and it seemed like a really-nice-to-have
plugin back then, when the site I was using it for had ~50 pages or so.
It was very handy to manage page order using a drag&drop function, as well as seeing all pages at once.
Since then, the site has grown, and it has now more than 200 pages, and the plugin went from really-nice-to-have
to I-can't-live-without-it
.
Thanks a lot for creating and maintaining it!

After short review upon installing, this looks very usefull and compelling to use. Great job! I just wish there was an option to show also a classic interface, not only new
EDIT: author showed there was indeed a link in menu to see also classic interface.
I like this better than CMS Tree View plugin! My recommendations!

This plugin makes managing large WordPress sites a breeze. This is how WordPress’s default page management should work, but since it doesn’t, just install this plugin instead. Makes it so easy to organize and nest pages with a simple and clean interface. Thanks for creating this!

This is a great plugin that really helps with managing sites with a lot of nested pages.
Unfortunately it’s not compatible with Yoast SEO – pages that are moved using the Nested Pages drag and drop interface do not have their canonical URL updated. (You need to go into the Edit Page screen and click update after moving it to trigger the canonical to update.)
This is really bad for SEO as pages that have mismatched canonical URLs cannot be indexed!

It’s 2022 and I still can’t believe WordPress doesn’t have a better interface for managing pages. I’ve been using this plugin for years on every single client site I develop and can’t imagine ever going back. It’s a much better UX for admin users as the site structure is extremely clear at a glance. Not to mention building out sites and quickly adding multiple pages and all of the other little UX improvements this plugin brings.

I am using Nested Pages to create the hierarchy of pages in our internal knowledge base and it works as expected.
There was an issue with the WP 5.9 update and the developer fixed it within a day. Leaving a 5-star review is the least I could do to thank him.

This is a fantastic plugin. Makes page management a cinch. You can drag and drop, add new pages/custom links on the fly. You can even sync with your menu. Really nice and simple plugin.

Makes page management easy. Should be default in WordPress. Thanks.

The plugin does a great job of managing the list of pages especially when your site has a lot of them. Take control of the pages by folding them under parent sections.
The plugin also allows you to manage WP admin menu (left column.) When I have this feature turned on, the admin menu looks funky in some parts. Dashboard tab floats around and links to some external website (big no no.) The spacing of the top tabs looks messed up. It would be great if this is cleaned up to make this plugin indispensable.

seamed to be great, some issues I had
1. synchronizing with the menu seamed not to run when changing the level within the structure.
2. NP had an essential impact on USP Pro (Frontend Posting), the dashboard menu item <USP Forms> was hindered to appear. Thus I have to abort it.
3. the plugin support of the homepage stuck when I wanted to submit the report about that issue
Sorry for that, best regards

It offers features I have been looking for a long time.

I installed this on a website for a client project and in less than 30 minutes, I saw the value in using Nested Pages. It has light memory footprint with a clean UI and the best part — it is practically white-labeled.

Really: the default way of organizing pages (and post, by the way) in WP core sucks. Hard. Nested Pages makes it bearable and usable, at least for pages.
In addition, using Neste Pages for the menu hierarchies saves a lot of time.
Thank you very much for this splendid plugin!
Cheers

Thank you so much! I don’t understand why this is not part of the WP core, such basic needed thing! For websites with multiple pages and supages this is a must. I will donate right away!

I tried many plugins to organize my pages but none worked beautifully like this plugin.
Five gloves from me.

Great tool and time saver. Hiding in the settings you can even adjust the admin menu without having to install an extra plug-in.
Would be cool if the tool would also work on the WP navigation page and if you could display the buttons such as Quickview or View to the left in front of the page titles.

If you have a site with a couple hundred pages or less, this is a really nice plugin to organize your pages. Very intuitive and easy to maintain.
As soon as you begin to approach 1000 pages, the page administration slows to a crawl, taking many seconds to render all pages. This plugin does not load as needed – it loads all of them.

This is a nice solution for showing the tree of pages (and other things) but also a nice example of plugins that you don’t want to use. Because they break WordPress so hard that any other plugin for the list view is just useless.
Yes, you can still use the common list view but why would you want to have two different list views? Except you like double the effort.

Seriously, this plugin removes so much confusion, paging through pages and other wasted time that I’m certain my life-span has increased, by at least a few months. Well done!

I’ve been doing custom development for WP for a good few years now and I can tell you without a doubt one of the biggest nightmares is keeping track of 100+ pages without a complete brain meltdown happening.
This plugin tidies up the Pages menu considerably and I don’t have to wade through a ton of pages to get to the one I’m looking for anymore, which is going to cut down considerably on dev time for sure.
Kudos to the dev of this plugin. I’m sure you’ve made life A LOT easier for a ton of other devs out there. Thanks for sharing and keep it up! This should be part of WP core for sure… instead time is wasted on dodgy page editors!

I’m not a pro but manage a few websites of my own. With only about 30-pages in each site trying to manage pages was getting to be a problem. Then I found this plugin and it’s made my life so much easier! Congratulations on great work.
