I noticed that with cloudflare’s rocket loader the plugin does not work correctly, is there a possibility to apply any corrections?

After clearing Cache, The plugin works fine on mobile device for about 15 minutes then goes back to not working? Any ideas on how to fix this?

Just an FYI at this plugin no longer works with WP5.

I don’t have this plugin installed, but i noticed in our servers access logs some sort of file upload attack.

They are trying to access :
/wp-content/plugins/wp-mobile-detector/resize.php?src=[SOME MALICIOUS URL]

after that they try to access a php file here :
/wp-content/plugins/wp-mobile-detector/cache/db.php

I understand that there must be a file upload vulnerability in the plugin that allows for php file upload that can be a webshell to take control of the server.

If this is the case, i guess there should be an urgent update.

Cannot redeclare class Mobile_Detect in….. /mobile-detect.php on line 29

Just installed WP Mobile Detect for the first time and tried using the [phone] tag. Browsers seem to confuse the tag with some existing [phone] tag that creates a click-to-call telephone number button. Moreover, the unwanted button shows on phone. Other tags (such as [device] seem to work.

How do you make this work?

So, while checking how my site renders in several browsers, I noticed that this plug-in detects Pale Moon (https://www.palemoon.org/) as a mobile browser. After digging through their support forum it seems that it’s not uncommon for scripts that detect for mobile to make that mistake.

Is it possible to fix this?

My client has reported that he can only see the mobile version of his menu (hamburger icon) on his website. Even in a full-width desktop monitor. He has his Zoom level set to 100%. This is only happening in Firefox, and only on his computer. Any thoughts of something that might be conflicting with his site on his computer or browser?

hi is it possible to replace the content that i want to temporarily hide from mobiles to be put as show more just for mobiles and be displayed fully for desktop. I want mobile users to be able to view the hidden content if they chose to do so. is it possible

It would be handy to be able to detect Opera Mini with a shortcode/function. It does so very little in the way of CSS good stuff etc.

Hi, i’m using on this site your great plugin but, on LG G3 the site still showed like on a tabled… i user the PHONE shortcode…and for example on SAMSUNG S3 is correctly showed as i want… but not on the LG g3… is because is a 4K display?

since yesterday, it shows at all devices only the device section.
I have one [notdevice] and one for [device]

But it shows at all devices only the [device] version.

Can you explain, why?

I can’t seem to get the plugin to work for call to action buttons on my site. When I write in the shortcode the call to action appears on the site with the short code actually in it and no differentiation for devices and desktops.

I want to exclude a popover gallery for phones and mobiles. I am using the wpmd_is_notdevice in my template file. It correctly identifies mobile devices and desktops but on my lenovo tablet the site is acting like a desktop when it should be acting like a mobile.

wpmd_is_notdevice seems to be including tablets as desktops however it shouldn’t.

Have I done something wrong or is this a bug?

The chrome detection code doesn’t exist.

I tried this:

Is there an extra step to get these short codes to work in a header? I have an ad tag in my header, and when I add the short codes around it, the codes just display on the screen. However I use the short codes in a text widget in my sidebar without a problem. Thanks for any help!
