]]>I have been using WP Meteor on a site for several years with no issues. Today we ran into a problem that I believe was caused by the Javascript delay feature. Javascript execution was delayed while waiting on a call to the https://www.redditstatic.com/ads/pixel.js asset. It eventually was terminated after 1.2 minutes with an ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED.
Javascript worked as normal when using an ad blocker (which would have blocked this call altogether) and when WP Meteor was disabled.
During the 1.2 minutes that the network request was open other scripts had the javascript/blocked attribute. As soon as the network request terminated those scripts were able to run.
Is this expected functionality? The reddit pixel script tag is loaded through GTM and has an async attribute.
This is no longer happening because the reddit pixel is loading quickly, but I’d like to identify the underlying problem to prevent this from happening in the future.
I started to debug the minified WP Meteor JS code but figured it would be easier to ask you.

]]>When I enable WP Meteor my complianz cookie banner isn’t clickable immediately. That results in the frustation of clicking on the cookie banner way too often but still not making it disappear.
Once I disable WP Meteor it works as it should.
Is there any way to fix it? I tried adding the following exclusions:

Ever since the 3.4.3 update, this plugin has become unusable for me.
I manage 3 websites: the first one where I updated the plugin became completely unusable, and I had to log into the server and remove the plugin directly, everything was down.
I refused to update one the other 2 websites, until a third party updated it without my control – and that website also broke. Not as badly, but several front end features stopped working and I had to remove the plugin.
The 3rd website has remained on 3.4.0 and continues to work completely fine.
Is there a way I can roll back to 3.4.0 on the other websites? Or get the file another way? It’s a shame because this was a fantastic plugin (thank you so much for your work) and to just be unable to use it is a real detriment, I have not been able to find a suitable replacement.

I am testing your WP Meteor plugin, but unfortunately it hides the PayPal checkout gateway in the Woocommerce shopping cart.
I am using the latest version of WP Meteor. I have therefore had to delete it until the problem is solved.

We have a loading screen that fetches files in the background. I have set up WP Meteor to “Delay until first interaction”. To prevent the loading screen from being displayed for too long, I implemented a small script that triggers user interaction automatically.
I attempted to exclude the script using the following paths in WP Meteor Exclusions, but it did not work:
- user-interaction.js
- themes/childtheme/user-interaction.js
- /wp-content/themes/childtheme/user-interaction.js
None of these exclusions seem to work, and the script is still being delayed by WP Meteor. Could you please let me know the correct way to exclude this script in the plugin settings?

How do I exclude my judge.me reviews? These are now no longer showing on my pages with WP Meteor activated. The review stars and number of the reviews are displayed on each page but the actual reviews don't load.

I am writing to seek assistance with a compatibility issue we’ve encountered on our website when using WP Meteor in conjunction with the Borlabs Cookie plugin. Despite the significant performance enhancements provided by WP Meteor, we’ve identified a conflict specifically related to the handling of Borlabs Cookie scripts within WP Meteor’s optimization process.
To elaborate, alongside WP Meteor and Borlabs Cookie, we utilize the Autoptimize plugin and have configured it to exclude Borlabs Cookie’s primary JavaScript files (borlabs-cookie.min.js and borlabs-cookie-prioritize.min.js) from optimization. These exclusions work as intended with Autoptimize, as evidenced by the scripts’ presence in the page’s source HTML.
However, upon activating WP Meteor—regardless of the optimization mode selected—we observe that the Borlabs Cookie consent message does not appear. Consequently, third-party scripts managed through Borlabs Cookie fail to load, impacting site analytics, functionality and compliance.
Given the steps we’ve already taken to troubleshoot, including ensuring all plugins are up-to-date and attempting manual script exclusions within WP Meteor’s settings, we suspect this issue may require a resolution or workaround from your end.

I use the GDPR/Cookie solution from Google-Adsene and it is integrated via the code of the automatic ads. I think that this Google solution is blocked. Unfortunately the plugin is stopping various payment gateways loading on the checkout pages of Woocommerce.
I’m an avid user and have this plugin on 200+ websites, but we’re having to remove it from several woocommerce sites as it’s preventing the payment gateways from loading – even when we exclude the payment gateways JS it still prevents them from loading.

When I activate WP Meteor, all links on my Elementor-built website don’t work anymore. Buttons, menu items and all other links do not work anymore.
It happens as soon as I activate the plugin, no matter what option I choose on the optimization slider.
]]>The plug-in is great and significantly contributes to the page speed ( from mobile score 23 to 64). However , it causes delay in loading the product images on single product pages. This delay creates a huge white space on the top which confuses the user. Here’s the source code when the plug-in is active. Would this suffice to stop the Plugin affecting these pages/widgets (based on Class names)?
First of all, it is a great plugin for speed optimization. Unfortunately, my burger menu only loads after an interaction, which is not a good experience for visitors. The function “Exclude scripts matching regexp from optimization” doesn’t seem to work for me or I did something wrong. I am using the Jet Mega Menu Burger Menu for mobile devices. It would be great if this could be loaded before an interaction.
I would be grateful for any help.
