It appears that show="future" in the shortcode starts TOMORROW and does not include events taking place later TODAY.

For example, a Meetup is scheduled for 7pm on February 24, 2020 and a visitor hits the website 9am the morning of February 24, 2020 they will only see events for February 25, 2020 and into the future – they will not see this evening’s event.

I installed and activated this, but there’s nothing about it in the dashboard menu. When I click the “Settings” link in the plugins list, I get a page showing just this message: Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.

I’m logged in as the administrator. I can access every other setting with no problem. What’s going on here?

How do I make inactive events active? My query is only for past events, no future events: 144/0. Both check boxes are unchecked. Strangely and currently, my inactive events are newer than my active events

Update: I did a db update and now all the active ones are just the future events. But there are no past events from 2019 (at least) in the inactive or active column

I greatly appreciate this plugin and the work that has gone into it!

The latest update caused a server error and the plugin needed to be deactivated in order to get wordpress to load. When attempting to reactivate I get the error:

“Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
Fatal error: Can’t use method return value in write context in [path removed for security]/wp-content/plugins/wp-meetup/wpm-options.php on line 353

When adding a group, I get a 502 error – it took a while before it timed out and gave the 502 error.
When trying to add again I got a different error – very quickly – just said to wait and try again later. I tried again 10 hours later with same results.

Just wondering if this is a known issue.

I would like to refresh the Active Events in the WP- Meetups Settings Page since for some reason it has not pulled all the Information from the Meetup site.

How do I perform a refresh so that it loads the Active Events again?

I love the plugin, but I see there have not been any updates in a long time – more than a year.

There are a few support threads that said an update is “coming soon,” but they are months old.

I like your plugin a lot it’s the most complete in my opinion. I really want to use it but whenever I activate i, it breaks the columns of my site layout. The last column in a row always falls down to the next line. Take note that I am viewing it on a maximized view. My theme is Oshine if you need to know.

After installing the plugin, the error_log gets flooded with the following messages. The plugin works fine and can see it on our pages. Can someone tell me how to avoid this excessive logging? Thank you.
If it helps, we renamed our WP_CONTENT_DIR directory to something else and I have replaced the parent directory path with <basedir> in the log below.

Sometimes after connecting with meetup and retriving the new events the plugin stores the new data but doesn’t seem to create correctly the links needed to access the new custome type posts (the ones that the plugn creates to store events).

As a result events are shown in plugin’s “Events” tab as WP Post ID = 0 and even though the posts seems to be created correctly (accesible if you write the url) they can not be accessed from the “event list” created using the shortcode (the list show the events, but “title” and “read more” links are broken and take the user to home).

At the beginning I felt that maybe the plugin had been having problems as a result of trying to sync too much data at the same time but the new info after each sync doesn’t seem that much. I am trying to sync 15 groups (3 events per group).

The WP Post ID = 0 problem has happened to me several times (different websites), and even though I have been able to get the plugin to work again regenerating the API key and reloading the groups (deleting them and adding them again), I would wish to know if there is a solution for this problem as the “reset” process I feel it’s counterproductive from a SEO/Google perspective (broken links?).

Hi,

Meetup plugin seems to be recognized by the wp fullcalendar plugin. However there is an issue with the dates.

The events all show up in the same day.
