Hi, i change every where i can (php.ini in apache, php.ini in fpm, htaccess and wp-config but still stay in 2 Mo
]]>I have a vps with a limp stack using PHP 8.1 fpm. I have a few sites installed all with there own word-press world.
My problem is I have increased file upload size on the server to raise upload limits to 512M. I have confirmed that word-press sees this limits and says that 512M is available.
However when I try to upload a jpg file of 5.6M it errors and says;
The server cannot process the image. This can happen if the server is busy or does not have enough resources to complete the task. Uploading a smaller image may help. Suggested maximum size is 2560 pixels.
On the same server I have a Nextcloud instance. I went to the same file and uploaded it with no problem and very quickly.
So obviously the server is not limiting the download it is WordPress, So I have tried increasing upload size plugins and so far they all show the server with all the right stuff, and that it sees the 512M limit from the server and yet I still the same error and yes I actually completely rebooted the server cleared my browser cache etc.
I have tried all the settings for the php.ini files.
I have tried plugins
I have tried code in the function.php file and the https://www.conf file in php
I have tried to correct any errors but cannot get wordpress to create its log file so I can see what it says.
I am out of ideas and this problem has been haunting me now for about 3 years…please any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
unfortunately I have a coming soon page up so cannot show site right now.
]]>Good afternoon! I am trying to migrate the .wpress file to www.remarpro.com which is installed locally on my computer. In this case “I don’t have a provider”. It is for use locally on the computer only. It turns out that the maximum upload is 300mb and the .wpress file is 570mb. I installed it and tried to increase it to be able to install (I went to 1GB), but the application is showing the following error, as shown in the attached images. And it appears that in the “provider” the maximum size would continue to be 300mb. Could you suggest a solution to me? Thanks!

Hi,
Excellent plugin
When uploading a WordPress extension file, it stops between 47 and 58 percent; this is a new WordPress with no plugins to cause conflicts. We tried different browers, cleared cach, etc.
We are trying to upload a theme that we bought and that needs to be uploaded through your plugin.
File size: 160 MB
We changed the max out to 3600 and also tried 150000
We changed the upload limit to 1GB
Thank you
]]>Even if you update the WordPress core files in your server (like .htaccess or php.ini), do you still need to contact the Hosting Provider (ours is AWS) about the “Maximum Upload Limit Set By Hosting Provider” ??

]]>Hi – I’m seeing an “error opening the temp file for writing. Available temp directory space may be exceeded or the temp file was cleaned up before the upload completed.”
File I’m uploading is about 160mb and my upload limit is set to 512 in your plugin and in my hosting server settings.
Anything I can do to fix that? Thanks for your help.

And If I upload the pdf file of same size i.e. above 2MB then it is getting uploaded successfully.
Maximum upload file size: 512 MB.
What can be the issue
]]>Although this plugin works as advertised, there are nag screens that will show up – on first activation, and then every 6 months (I believe).
This makes the plugin ‘instrusive’ (IMHO), and might be against WP Plugin Guidelines. It is intrusive especially on sub-sites, where I want to keep things simple.
For that reason, although the plugin works as advertised, I have deleted it and moved to a different solution.
]]>Hello,
I am getting an error when I upload a file with a size more than the original limit, even so , I have increased size limit to 2GB on the plugin, but still same issue, new size limit not applied,
After progress bar complete, it shows:
“Unexpected response from the server. The file may have been uploaded successfully. Check in the Media Library or reload the page.” and it’s not uploaded.
Please note that I have same website on local, and it’s working fine. Please assist
Your Increase Maximum Upload File Size plugin confirms that WordPress and other important files are up to date.
Your plugin also reports Maximum Upload Limit set by WordPress is 64MB and Maximum Upload Limit Set By Hosting Provider is set to 64mb
BUT I am still restricted to 8mb
Also noted was an error message at the top of the screen which said
failed to open stream: HTTP request failed! HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden in /homepahes/17/23… etc then wp-includes/functions.php on line 6620
At line 6620 is
$file_data = file_get_contents( $file, false, null, 0, 8 * KB_IN_BYTES );
Can you please help me understand what is wrong here?
Keith..

]]>Hello, I have plugins that make a restriction for users, one of the users can only post articles, they are not admins. The problem is that these users with access restrictions they can’t upload files in their posts larger than 1MB, how can you help me with that?
Please don’t tell me to configure PHP or HTacess as I’ve already done it there and increased it but unfortunately users with restriction can’t upload files larger than 1MB.
]]>Hi,
I’m not sure, If I disable the plugin, will the settings remain?
This due to security risks.
Hi,
I used the plugin to increase the max upload size to 256MB. So now I can select a bigger file as intended, however, I get the following error during the upload:
Unexpected response from the server. The file may have been uploaded successfully. Check in the Media Library or reload the page.
The file isn’t in the media library unfortunately – the upload seems to have failed.
What could be the issue?
Thanks!
