We are unable to update the details of a Map marker in the version 1.4.10 but it works fine in version 1.4.9. Can you please provide a solution for it or let us know when will an update for this be released?

We currently can’t edit any of the details on the Marker pop up. We spoke to our dev team and it seems that there’s a conflict with the latest version of the WP Map Block plugin and users can’t edit their markers.?

I have used this block in combination with Borlabs on another side, where I used this hook to incet the Borlabs shortcode for the Block:

Which works for the Borlabs Blocker, but when unblocked, in the new Borlabs version it doesn’t load the map anymore.

Can you please advise me on which function I execute in js after unblocking, to initialize loading?
Do you have an “initialise” function I can use after unblocking content?

I’ve been trying out the WP Map block and successfully displayed a map on a page I have edited. However, when I update the page and then display it live, the map defaults back to displaying Dhaka. Doing something wrong?

I have a map that I need to display in black and white.

The problem I have is that the map will be under constant editing and every time it is saved its ID changes, so you also have to change the CSS code that you provided in the answer you gave here.

Is there any way for the map to be displayed in black and white (ignoring its id) without having to continually change the CSS code?

Hi everyone, I have a question about cookies.

I have a very simple web where I don’t want to use any cookie in order to avoid using the annoying GRPD cookie notice.

I’m testing this plugin with chrome’s developer console and I don’t see any cookie when using google maps.

Is this true? There isn’t any google cookie with this maps? Can I skip the cookie notice then?

Good day. I love this simplicity of WP-Map-Block but changing the default icon one by one is very labour intense. Is there a way to change the default icon for every map pin? Or a way to change and set the dimensions in bulk?

Suggestion: It would be very helpful if under ‘Choose Icon Type’ it would show the last few icons used to quickly select them with the dimensions used before for that icon.

I also noticed a small bug: when you are working in the block and hit CTRL+Z (undo) the block ‘crashes’ and you lose all your progress if you haven’t saved the page inbetween.

Other than that, thanks for creating this great and simple map block!

Anyway to update the tiled images away from PNG to webp? As they are served directly offsite, I’m unable to edit the images so they will not get flagged on pagespeed tests.

Map marker / pin-drop no longer works. Instead displays broken image placeholder and the letters Ma.

Hello, is there a way I can put the marker Title into a text box beside the map, and the Marker description into a text box right beside the Title Box. I need on click for these text boxes to be filled, then re-updated with new data when a new marker is clicked.

Hi there, since a few weeks, maps are not shown any more / shown as blank on our website. The phenomenon started suddenly while plugin version 1.4.7. / wordpress version 6.2.1., affecting both: google & open street maps.
We then updated the plugin to 1.4.8 – no function. We updated the wordpress version 6.2.2. then – no function neither. How can we make Mapsblock work again?

Im having a problem with the plugin. When i want to edit, gives me an alert “This block has encountered an error and cannot be previewed” and i can’t do anythig.

I’m using WordPress 6.2 running Neve theme with Gutenberg.

When updating to version 6.2 the WordPress your plugin stopped working. It gives an error that does not allow the preview.

The extension is no more active when I want to add a map in my site provincedesienne.com

I click on the button as usual, but nothing happens. I noticed the problem a few days ago.

In the map settings i want to disable Enable Scroll Wheel Zoom so i dont enable it.
But on Mobile it does not work. And also i cant change′ height for mobile users.
So its painfull for usability on mobile.

How to fix this?

when I upgrade WP Map Block from version 1.4.2 to 1.4.3., the map is not displayed anymore, nomatter if I choose google maps oder openstreetmap.
On my website see: “So findet ihr uns – Lageplan”
When I edit the page in wordpress I can see the map.
My system: WordPress 6.1 / PHP 8.1
I disabled the cache plugin for the test.

5 months without any update! Does it mean the extension is no longer maintained? The current version has not even been tested with the new version of WP! If I have to change my extension, it is not seroius. Thank you to tell me what I have to do.

It would be perfect if there would be at least few words from title instead of “Marker 1, 2, ..”. When you add 30+ markers it’s hard to find the correct one. Simple search field would be an extra bonus! ??

i installed the plugin but NOT placed the map block on any page. But nevertheless your plugin is loading the assets on every page like
leaflet.js and Control.FullScreen.js
Please change it to conditional loading!!

My plugin renders a map with an opacity background overlay with text “For development purposes only”. There is a message on the map “There was a problem loading Google Maps on this page. Are you the owner of this site?” with button “Ok”.
What is this error and how to fix it?
