When WP Mailer emails a post that contains photos, the photos are distorted (stretched vertically). This is only true for posts made through the WordPress phone app. The image in the post is fine on the website, but the image in the WP Mailer email (or preview) are distorted. Posts made from my computer (WP Dashboard) or emailed from my phone (Postie plugin) are fine. I’m running WordPress 4.9.7 with WP Mailer 0.64. Suggestions?
Thanks, Jeff
It looks like this plug in is not longer supported.
Anyone find an alternative ?
Need double opt in subscriptions too
any suggestions?
I installed both WP Easy Post Mailer and Web Dorado Form Maker Post Generator add-on today. Both plug ins are working properly independent of one another. However, when a new post is published using the Post Generator form, Easy Post Mailer does not recognize it and queue it as a campaign.
As an aside, I encountered the same issue using the Jetpack “Post by Email” function. New posts were not recognized by Easy Mailer.
Does anyone know why Easy Mailer is not recognizing the new posts, and is there anything I can do about it?
Thank you!

Hi all,
In a custom WP Mailer template, I only want to display post title and a link to it. I did it as following :
[...]

<?php the_title(); ?>

<a href="<?php get_permalink(); ?>">Read the article

[...]
The Blog’s title is displayed but the link’s URL is empty on received newsletter.
How can I get the article’s permalink in the newsletter ?
Many thanks
I’ve just added a new post which has been queued for mailing, and the Campaigns tab shows this as queued. But under Progress it says “Starting in 46 years”. Still stuck there several hours later, not surprisingly.
It has worked just fine for all previous posts. I tried deleting the post and then creating it again, but I got the same result.
Hi,
I have a problem with this plugin. It seem the plugin is sending email each time we udpate a blog post. So Last time I did a small update on 10 blog post and the plugin sent 10 emails.
As I understand the plugin have to send only on publish action not on update.
So any solution ?
Thanks.
I’d like to track newsletter sign-ups in Analytics, but it looks like Goals require a bit of Javascript in the submit button.
Is there a way to add this code to the button that the plugin generates? If not, would it be possible to get this as a feature in the future?
For security reasons, I’m recommending a double opt-in process for email subscribers. Since I started using this plugin recently, I’ve had at least a dozen illegit subscribers. I’m a contractor, and the goal is for me to do all the heavy lifting in setting up the site functionality and then hand over the reigns to the content authors within the organization. (They’re not technical.) Without a double opt-in process, this plugin requires oversight for a couple reasons — one being security, but the other being that a lot of new subscribers could significantly increase the number of subscribers, which has an impact on our send configuration with the ISP.
Whenever I add a new post to my wordpress site, with automatic sending activated in the settings of WP Easy Post Mailer, several (4-7 emails) are sent to the subscribers of the list. What could cause this behaviour and how do I fix it?

Is it possible to set the email content to be in a “Summary” format (that is the reader needs to click through to go to your site to read the entire post) rather than including the Full Text in the email?
If so, where do I do this?
Mahalo,

Firstly love your product. It is fantastic but REALLY needs the option to create multiple lists based on blog categories.
Even in the first instance if in the first instance if you can just exclude some blog categories from sending.
I would be prepared to pay $$ for this..
Good work ??
I recently installed WP Mailer and added two email addresses as subscribers. When I post a new post on my blog I am not receiving any emails. The Campaigns tab on WP Mailer tells me two emails were delivered, but I never received them. They are not in the Spam folder either. I tested the wp_mail function independently of WP Mailer, and it worked fine. Could you please advise? Thank you!

After I had install the plugin , I try to activate it but it gave me error

Hi,
I like the look of this plugin but have a couple of questions before I try it…
do the subscription forms include a double opt in system?
Can we see usage of the emails (eg how many sent and opened and links clicked)? Or at least link in analytics somehow?
Cheers,
Tash
Plugin looks great. The one exception is that I need to have my subscribers list broken into groups or segments. Is this possible?

Hello,
One of the questions I have been asked a lot recently is “How do I create my own mail templates?”, here is an explanation:
—
Let’s assume your WordPress theme is called “twentyfifteen”, open the plugin’s folder /wp-content/plugins/wp-mailer/templates/ and copy the following two files:
wpm-default.php
wpm-default.png
to your theme folder /wp-content/themes/twentyfifteen/ but rename to something like:
wpm-mythemered.php
wpm-mythemered.png
And then modify to your wishes (it is important to keep the wpm- prefix),
Bear in mind that you will also need to update the header in the .php file.
/*
Template Name: My Theme Red
Template Author: Richard
Template Website: https://www.mywebsite.com
Template Description: Richard red theme for WP Twenty Fifteen
*/
This will now appear in the Templates section of WP Easy Post Mailer.
