Hello,
The plugin installs and activates just fine, but it does not record any login attempts in the interface.
The WP version I am using is: 5.1.1
Do you have any solution or idea of what should I do to make it work?
Thank you
The following error appears in the apache error.log file. Is there a fix available?
WordPress database error Column ‘password’ cannot be null for query INSERT INTO wp_login_attempt_log (username, password, time, agent, ip) VALUES (‘userid’, NULL, ‘2018-03-29 08:42:22’…
Hi,

After active plugin i did not see anywhere for user guide. Ex:

Will i receipt email arlert when someone fail logged in 3 times , a head of 5 times or when they started blocked.etc…

After update to the latest plugin version (1.3) I get syntax error
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /data/web/virtuals/18342/virtual/www/wp-content/plugins/wp-login-attempt-log/lal-settings-init.php on line 159
Maybe you are using some feature of newer PHP version? My webhosting is using PHP 5.3.29. (WordPress officially supports PHP 5.2+)
I have a few problems activating the plugin
1 –
Notice: Undefined variable: wpdb in /home/XXX/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-login-attempt-log/login-attempt-log.php on line 23
Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /home/XXX/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-login-attempt-log/login-attempt-log.php on line 23
Those two disapear setting wpdb as a global in login-attempt-log.php start

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /home/emop/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-login-attempt-log/lal-settings-init.php on line 159
No idea how to solve this one.
What may I do to solve it?
Hi Simon,
For the past few months I have had a hacker trying to get into my WordPress Admin account. I have been using Limit Logon Attempts – Reloaded to block the IP adresses used, but as every attempt has been from a unique IP address, this has not stopped the attack.
I recently came across your plugin which has provided some additional information for me (thank you for that), but I would now like to delete part of this Log data (or all if easier).
I have tried deleting the plugin from the WordPress directory using the cPanel File Manager and replacing with the previous day’s backup, but the Log data still shows entries since the backup was made. I have also tried uninstalling and then deleting the plugin. When reinstalled, all the precious data is still there.
Can the log file be deleted?
This is a very useful plugin. One question/issue:
I’ve noticed that the IP address that shows up in the “Login Attempts Log” interface seems to be absent in my Apache Log. I’m wondering how this could be.
The reason this is important is that I now want to report abuse to the ISP but they require Apache Log Entries …but I can’t match the entries from “Login Attempts Log” to entries in the Apache Log.
Please advise.
Hello
Nice plugin! But there 2 problem:
Notice: Undefined index: pwd in /var/www/vhosts/yncubatorlln.be/httpdocs/wordpress/wp-content
/plugins/wp-login-attempt-log/lal-log-init.php on line 22
1/ I have a custom ajax login (front end) but my ajax request give me this error with WP_DEBUG = true
2/ In your logs, the username is registered but not the password.. (when I use my ajax login)
Any chance you can add an email alert? I’d love to be able to get email alerts if someone has a failed login attempt.
Tim
Hi Simon, thanks for this plugin. Just starting to check it out. The stats (below the graph) look different than from your screenshots and are barely readable. AdBlock is disable for my wordpress site.
OSX 10.10.1
Wordpress 4.1
Plugin 1.2.1.

Hello,
I was interested in using this on a large WPMU network / Multi-Network instance, has this been tested in such a manner? I would love to provide feedback ^_~
With version 4 it doesn’t work anymore :
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /home/username/public_html/mydomain.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-login-attempt-log/lal-settings-init.php on line 117
too bad it looked like a useful plugin
Thanks you so much for this plugin. It is very useful. I have no trouble at all using it on my site running WordPress 3.9.2, but when I try to install it on the site where I’m beta-testing WordPress 4.0 beta, I get the error message
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /wp-content/plugins/wp-login-attempt-log/lal-settings-init.php on line 117
Other than the fact that I’m using the beta version of WordPress on the latter site, the two sites are quite similar: identical themes, virtually the same plugins.
Do you have any advice? Many thanks.
