Hasn’t been tested for wp 4.1 but it works for me.
Instructions? We doe knee no stinking instructions.
Install, activate, check settings. Good to go. I’m using it on the home page only. It’s a mostly one page site.
Hopefully he’ll update it someday. At least run it thru to have it as “works for your version of wp”.

Need detailed examples of steps 3 & 4! Maybe a screen shot or two??
1-In the Visual Editor click on the HTML Editor– Got it.
2-Locate the end point of the jump in HTML view– Got it, I think- ‘End point’ meaning where I want the page to scroll to?
3-Add an id attribute to your end point. – Umm what?????? I need details! Exact code character by character to be typed with [your anchor point inserted here]and such…. Yeah I’m a newbie and know no html.
4-Using the built-in WordPress link dialog box, add your link in the usual way at the origin point– Again, yes I know how to make links using the box, but what exactly do I put in as the link. The above code character by character or just my anchor point word?
5-You should be good to go – With more detailed help I sure hope so ??
Also, about how to adjust the speed of the scrolling. In a comment below, something mentioned about a php file. Ugh.. what is that and how do I access it?
I will change my rating if I can ever get this working ??
Thanks

It works as expected, nothing special to set up, just install and done.

Worked immediately as promised. Great job! I would echo the request to allow changing the scroll speed from the WP dashboard, although the default speed is not bad.

In the HTML view, I went to my determined end point as instructed and used the ” #anchor_id ” as instructed.
In the end anchor I used the Number 1 as my First anchor indicator (i.e.: ” #anchor1id ” REPLACING the ” _ ” underscore as the blank area to insert my indicator 1st Numbered 1 as shown).
Than, (coming out of HTML view) from with within View, I utilized the WP Link dialog in its normal manner using the anchor I established as my inserted Link i.e.: ” #anchor1id “
That is how I interpreted your instructions and how I arrived at my current point of still needing to locate an operable method.
SORRY but for those of us who are new at this WP Stuff explaining instructions in a manner that can only be understood by others who already know what you are talking about is of no vale to new users.
I’m sure your Plug-in (most likely) works fine. But, like most things, it will only work if you know how to work it. Thanks any way. Bottom Line: More HELPFUL instruction would be MORE HELPFUL.
Warmest regards

Tried both manual Jquery and other plugins without any of them working as intended.
This one did, right out of the box! Changed to my desired scrollspeed and voila!
If any, an option for changing the scrollspeed without having to open the php file, would be nice.
