I’m rebuilding a website and setting up WP Latest Posts but can’t deselect ‘Pages’ as a content source. As a result, all my website pages are appearing in the carousel at the bottom of the page, along with posts.

I’ve used WP Latest Posts on a previous website with only posts showing and I want the same functionality on the new site. Is there a way to disable pages as a content source? There’s a radio button to select/deselect ‘All pages’, but it’s shaded and unresponsive. I’ve tried logging into my WordPress Admin with both Safari (17.4.1) and Firefox (124.0.2), but that makes no difference. I’m using a MacBook Air M1 – and I guess that shouldn’t make a difference either?

After switching from php 7 to php 8 my home page result full of errors like this:

I use this plugin to display news 3×3 and pagination at the bottom (page numbers and previous/next buttons).

After the last plugin update, the pagination broke and the block looked like a slider. Slider arrows and pagination from the bottom in the form of dots appeared. It looks even worse on mobile, because the slider shows posts not in order by date, but by columns (from bottom to top).

I did not find any settings to change this, so only installing the previous version (4.8.10) helped.

The arrows are not working: when I hover over them with the pointer they don’t light up and they are not clickable.

The bullets don’t show up.

When I add a post with an image in the list of recent posts, the post shows up, but without a thumbnail.
To be more precise: I add a post, the picture is added in the post options under “Blog”.

After the latest update the news are not auto-scrolling. In addition, only 1 news item is showing on the mobile view. Kindly assist

There’s suddenly massive amounts of space between two lines. The example I linked to has a couple of WPLP shortcodes in widgets and a default WP latest post widget. The latter looks much better.
I’ve been trying to find what causes the excessive line height. Perhaps the wpcu-front-box top equalHeightImg ? (Even though I use no images.)

And when I’m add it. After the latest upgrade all widgets had centered text instead of aligned left. On one occasion I this new text alignment was very persistent, but fortunately it’s been saved in the end.

Hi it appears the text for the linking in this is too long and gives me errors and warnings..

How do i fix this as it only hides the text although it is still there in the page?? It appears the link text is the excerpt for some weird reason?

This is the warning:

links use text that is too long. Links should describe what they link to briefly. Linking a long block of text usually indicates an attempt to trick search engines into ranking those keywords highly (a strategy which does not work). Long linked blocks of text are also harder for people to scan.

I have your plugin on my website. But i have realized that it is not working properly on AMP version. Instead of title and picture there are whole articles showing up. Can you help me with that?

I want to use the Portfolio theme. Is it possible to configure it to:
a) Disable the display of the post category (this is irrelevant information for the user)

I noticed today that left/right arrows are no longer in the correct position, as you presented for default theme that I use from the beginning. Now, arrows are at the bottom, not in-line with the content (see screenshot).

I’d like to use the shortcodes in widgets, but without the plugin formatting the result. The text is always small and bold, but I’d prefer if the text in the widget just looks like the other widgets (of WP, other plugins, etc.). Just let my theme handle the lay-out.

Hello, thanks for the great plugin,

I’m having an issue with posts not appearing at all.
I have activated wp-rocket and since then I can see the posts only if I am logged in (uncached). When I navigate as a visitor nothing appears!

Do you have anything in mind for this problem?

Rolling back to v4.8.4 fixes it.

I have 3 columns on desktop. There are 3 rows on mobile device. Is it possible to 3 columns on desktop and 1 row on mobile devices? Because 3 rows and padding arrows are looking so bad at mobile devices. Thanks.
