Please could you update this plugin?

I’ve noticed that quite a bit of your plugins seem to not be updated regularly.. Do you still maintain and update these plugins ? Definitely hate to purchase this just to find out nothing is maintained

I’m getting the following entries in my debug.log when running PHP 8.2. Is this plugin not compatible with PHP 8.2? If not compatible with PHP 8.2, is it compatible with PHP 8.1 or 8.0?

The linked page https://friendly-pasteur.77-68-35-227.plesk.page/prolific-profiles/zeus-360-virtual-tours/ is a CPT called “company profile” with all content aded using ACF Pro fields. The page type has been designed using Elementor Pro’s theme builder. Can your plugin be used to replace my existing company profile type with fields added using ACF Pro, including relationship fields, which can then be designed using Elementor?

The reason I ask is that I have build the site using purely ACF Pro and users can add one-off jobs using ACF Frontend Admin Pro and pay for them using Stripe. Jobs can be associated with company profiles. I’m liking the features of WP Job Manager though such as the ability to pre-pay multiple jobs packages and subscribe for weekly job updates which I’m not sure I can achieve using my current setup but want to know if your plugin can replace my jobs and company profile CPTs.

I would like to show the company profile page even if no jobs are posted. If no posts are there, just show a message like ‘Sorry no jobs available’. Is it possible?

After the latest update companies with a forward slash in their name return 404 errors.

how to show each company information on single company page with job listings of that particular company

Can I use a shortcode to list companies based on a custom field such as “Industry”? For example, rather than list ALL companies I’d like to list only TECH companies or Healthcare companies. Thanks!

I just Debugged the page for a client. The Problem is. /company/xyc pages load the 404 template but give back Status 200 which is bad for SEO because old or randomly generated pages might be indexed.

I suggest for a valid Status code. Throw $wp_query->set_404(); status_header(404); in line 145.

I hacked it in in my instance but i guess this would be a good thing for everyone if added + i could keep the plugin on my Clients site up to date without further maintanance.

After disabling Company Profiles, the error disappears.

in the description we have the following:

Outputs a list of all companies that have submitted jobs with links to their listings and profile

well – i wonder -do we need a special – a certain theme to run the plugin!? Do we need a certain theme, or are we able to run any theme.

i for one i love the standard theme the theme twenty-twenty!?

well – can i run the plugin and use the standard – theme twenty twenty.?!

Our logged in Company users should be limited to create only one Company. Default behaviour allows each company user to create as many companies as he/she wants.

How can we achiveve this limitation to only one company per company user?

I have a problem with the WP Job Manager – Company Profiles plugin.

The company overview site is generated correctly using the shortcode, as you can see here:

If I click on a company, i.e. on “Moore & Kavinsky” I’m led to the company detail page, like here:

Everything works fine this far, but now comes the problem:

If I click on the job offer, I’m led to the job detail page:
https://www.praxis-jobs.de/Job/head-of-commercial-contracts/

Now, if I click on the logo from this page, I end up on a 404 Page:

https://www.praxis-jobs.de/Unternehmen/Moore%20%26amp%3B%20Kavinsky/

Here are two issues with the URL:
1. the slug “company” which is mandatory in this plugin is getting translated in the URL into the german word “Unternehmen”
2. The letter “&” is getting recoded into %26amp%3B so the right page can’t be found

So, why is the plugin behaving differently by generating the URLs on the Company Overview Page and on the Job Detail Page? How can this be fixed?

i am using the WP Job Manager. I have created a page with the shortcode “[job_manager_companies]” but the output is the shortcode inself. No companies list in alphabetized order will be displayed.

Can anyone help me what i am doing wrong?

I’ve gotten the page listing all current companies with their available jobs working perfectly. However, when you click on a specific company to go their individual page profile, it’s leading to a 404.

I’ve added the “single-company.php” file to my theme but it’s still not working correctly. Any help is greatly appreciated!

We’ve noticed that the company profile page only shows the 10 last jobs the company has posted, even when they have more than 10 jobs posted. How can we fix this, so that all the jobs the company has posted are listed on its company profile page?

Right now, the name of the company is made into a link where any spaces or symbols are changed to the HTML code (i.e. a space becomes %20); this often results in a really ugly link.

Could anyone help with a way to change the spaces and symbols to a “-” in the URL, instead of it becoming the HTML code for the space or symbol (so that “My New Company, Inc.”, which currently becomes /company/My%20New%20Company%2C%20Inc./ would instead become /company/My-New-Company--Inc./?

Here’s a guide I found for how you can get this add-on working on your website (bear in mind that it’ll need a ton of CSS styling, though), which worked successfully for me today.

This plugin shows the company in alphabet manners. It works fine if the number of companies less than 500 or 1000. If more companies on the page. The plugin does load the page and give the error.

I think it needs to breakdown the companies page in various numeric pages or Alphabet base divide. How can I fix this issue or divide the page? Please fix the issue to work fine.

I have tried this plugin and It lists companies in alphabet ordered manner. But when user clicks on one of the companies, it takes to error 404 page and it does not display jobs under that company.

is it possible to run the company Profiles as a stand alone? So just like creating a profile for which you have to pay?

It looks like this plugin has not been updated in a long while. Does it work with Version 4.9.1 and the current version of WP Job Manager?

How would lone go about associating a custom post type to job postings?

I would like to have the Company related Job Listing data setup as a post type (entered once).
Ideally, when creating a new job listing admin users could just select a Company (instead of having to enter every individual company field for every listing) and have this populate on the front end.

If there isn’t an off-the-shelf solution that allows this, some general pointers on how one would implement it would be helpful.

Is there a setting where I can avoid duplicate meta descriptions on all companies. The companies are using the blog meta description.

You should fix this bug. I hope the developers know how to resolve this.

Please help.

Google will penalize my site for may company meta desc duplicates.
