I have posted 2 times in the last few months to the support forum and gotten no reply. In fact no one has gotten any replies in about a year. I would say that with support like the company is either gone, or will soon be gone. Its a shame because the product itself had a lot of potential.

Great work there. I am able to send and track payments in different languages and currencies. I upgraded my website to work under https and stripe works too!

I use WP-Invoice to allow credit card payments via Stripe on my site. I’m aware that stronger authentication rules are coming into force in the UK, and I’ve received emails from Stripe asking me to upgrade to be able to allow 2-factor authentication. However, I don’t see any recent update from WP-Invoice to tie in with this change.
Is integration with SCA/2-factor authentication already available in WP-Invoice, or is an upgrade going to be available soon?

Normally this app is for the store , And the best store plugins right now are woocommerce
Now if your plugin sync with woocommerce plugin very very good
for example choice of product and currency unit and country local payment system choice
and attach invoice pdf when send notification mail.
If the above items are included in the plugin , It will be very beautiful.

A great piece of work and everything works like a charm if you carefully read the excellent documentation.
At current version 4.2.2 there is no link to this page at plugin’s settings and it’s a pity.
Several addons, like the PDF, are free and must have.

Good Plugin, does what I need.
However, had a few problems which I have asked questions around in support.
The questions initially say that they are waiting for moderator approval…
Most of my Questions then got deleted and didnt make it past moderator support. the one that did, did not get answered.
Each of my questions, I took to Stackoverflow and got answers there relatively promptly.

Couldn’t find any support form on homepage, so I used the request form for a paid service and I have got no induvidually answer on what I was asking. Although I paid for plugin Invoice PDF, didn’t get any solution of the issues I had.
For the past I did some German translations for this company, they treated me with nothing. I can’t recommand this enterprise anymore and deleted all plugins I used on my site.

Several times tried to contact the plugin support by their homepage and here. Did not get any solution for my issue I reported.
But it’s interesting that they offer a paid service by $70/h

I like this product a lot. I have been using it for over a year now. I use it with the Single Page Checkout ($75), and the PDF plugins ($50). I think the program is near useless without these. Customers need a way to download and save invoices (thus the PDF plugin) and single page checkout allows you to do online commerce. The basic only allows you to send out the bill. So those cost money but it is a one time $125 charge and I like that. What I also like is that I can set it up to be HIPAA compliant and still use PayPal. I have designed the process to send just amounts to paypal while leaving out the specific order information. Clients can see the order in PayPal but are directed to my website to see the actual invoice for services performed. I like this. So if your are ok with some simple PHP it is easy to customize WP-Invoice to your needs. Usability Dynamics has also been somewhat helpful with questions I have had on the development side.
What I do not like: I wish the documentation was more complete. I have had to dig to get clarification on parameters and how to use them. They tell us what the parameters are but provide minimal documentation on how they are used, and in most cases no examples. So from a developers perspective, I have had to dig through the code to try to figure out what in the world this or that parameter is supposed to do. I have emailed them with questions, 80% of the time I get an ok response. 20% of the time they ask if I want to purchase development time from them. So, that is frustrating. Please document better.
What is also frustrating, there is no bulk send feature for invoice reminders and notices. Once a week I have to open every open account and tell each one to set up a notice and then send them all individually. That is time consuming. I would like a bulk send reminder option for all open invoices such as is available in PayPal. I miss that a lot.
So, overall I give 4 stars. It would be 5 for me if the documentation was more complete and if there was a better system for notifications/reminders.

Hello,
I like the plugin because of it’s straight forward nature, but I have some challenges to bring to your notice.
1. After creating invoice, you cannot edit invoice by clicking on the edit invoice link – it takes you to “page cannot be found”.
2. After creating invoice and pay to bank (manual/offline payment method) is used, if client pays to the bank, how can admin indicate and include client’s payment from the admin side. Kindly effect these changes.

I found this plugin to be perfect for my needs, and along with the PDF addon allowed me to create the simple invoicing system my client asked for. Didn’t need to read documentation, it was really straight forward. Would highly recommend if you need q quick invoicing solution that just works.

We have used this invoicing plugin easily over 4 years and it is by far the best for our needs. Not only does it show when clients have viewed the invoice, but it keeps track of every change and detail that is made. If your client has the ability to sign in into your website they too can see every time something was sent about the invoice and every payment.
With additional add-ons like PDF Invoice, Signature, and Quote you cannot go wrong with this group of powerful plugins.

I was testing a payment of $.75 and a $50 charge went through. I checked the docs for the plugin and it seems that the minimum payment is $.50. It seems that a typo has been made somewhere.
The invoice displayed, “Total Due: $.75”, but when the payment went through, the invoice displayed, “Total Due: -$49.25”.
This was processed via stripe.

I believe the cause of this is that in the Edit Invoice Dash, I’ve set “Allow Partial Payment” to true, and have set “Minimum Payment” to 50%. I believe that Minimum Payment is not registering % at all and is only deciding on set dollar amounts. This is a poor experience for anybody managing this, as a lot of people will commonly decide to take 50% deposits on payments.

Is there an express checkout option for Paypal included in this plugin? I cannot find one anywhere and Paypal has implemented one.

maybe harsh in hindsight. I needed more functionality but because it’s not there I should not be criticising the plugin per se. It has pissed me off because it’s not done things I think it should but what it does do it does well.

I have been using this plugin for quite some time now and it does the job very well. There are many options and it can be set up for almost any purpose.
I had a minor issue which was solved very quickly, the authors/developers support is excellent and he went beyond what I would have expected.
Communication is really good as well, even though we are on different sides of the globe ??

One request – default view of ‘Active Only’ is good but I also have some ‘Pending’ which is recurring payment.
Any way to change or customize so I can see ‘Active & Pending’ invoices as default view, it’d be really nice.

I had some doubts beginning with this plugin, due to comments of poor support and documentation, and the fact that it seemed a bit bunky, but took the gamble for it was just what I needed for functionality.
I clearly see they’re getting by on support, the plugins are the more the better programmed, and if you update the documentation.
I’m working with CRM, WP-Invoice and the PDF plugin. If you’re looking for a good CRM and Invoice system I think you can take the gamble on this one pretty safely ;).

I seriously love this plugin. Setup is very intuitive and all the features just seem to work. That doesn’t sound like much but invoicing plugins are extremely complex and the workflow never seems to be just right with most of them, but this one is definitely different. I have only used it with Stripe so far but that was dead simple to setup and worked right from the first test charge.
