This is an amazing plugin – the kind of thing you don’t know you need. For managed hosting, it’s perfect. I’ve created help articles for clients on our own website and I can push them out to all our hosted sites – how to create a new post, how to add a user, how to add a page to the menu, etc. I can also tailor how-to docs to a specific website and add them just to that website. Best of both worlds.
Please keep this up – it’s saving me a ton of time and effort with client support. A+

This is one of the best plugins you can find. Does what is says, clean and nice. The sync feature is just elegant, bust also very useful. Good for anyone, and a must have for agents and their clients.

Congratulations on this practical plugin.
Make a habit of installing it at the start of a site’s development and add the important points for the site’s documentation as you go along.
Who hasn’t found themselves at a loss when returning to a site 3 months later, having forgotten why a particular extension was installed or a particular organisation chosen?

You can start creating documentation within a minute of installing the plugin. Intuitive UI. A critical feature is being able to reorganize the menu of pages by dragging them into place with the mouse.

Not much to say really. Simple. Does the job great. Been working without fail for many years.

I use this for clients but also for myself when i’ve got out of the ordinary or complex work flows…1 place to look and easily remind myself or the client how to do something.

Amazing simple yet so powerful and so useful. Makes giving instructions to clients a doddle and having the ability to copy between sites makes it easy to replicate the same instructions for multiple clients. My biggest fear is that Mark J will stop supporting… Definitely worth having a chargeable version to keep the plugin alive.

Very, very helpful, especially for clients projects. You can document website specific and the clients can even add or update infos when the website is growing.
Thanks much ??

I create websites for clients. The plugin allows me to transfer documentation along with the site.
Simple and convenient. Thanks to the developer!
P.S. Continue to develop the product.

I was going to write my own plugin, but then I found this one.
It’s simple, effective and works well. The sync feature is especially useful in a multisite setup.
Thank you!

Simple, straightforward and incredibly useful! What mare do you want? Great place to communicate with clients who don’t update their sites often – and therefore tend to forget how to do things.
Thanks for a great plugin I install on every site.

Enjoying this plugin and I think it’s got lots of potential.
Suggestions,
Images could be in there own directory, not mixed in with user images.
Add a premium feature where you can access pre-written articles (enable check box to choose which ones display, have options for ones like wordpress). This would make it worth while for you to continue development and save me a lot of time.

Simple, intuitive, instant help docs for my users! Thank you, Mark!

I like this… it could offer more option with some addons but it does what it promise (online help, embedding video help…) + a bit more getting data from external sources etc etc

Love this plugin to keep tutorials and HowTos for clients or users. Really easy to use and keep all documentation in one place.

For example, a date of last “help article” modification would be great.

Great for adding some custom tutorials for a client with video, screenshot.

When I set off to create a large (too me) multi-site install that would be used by 5 different staff members who all need to change things at different times. I knew I needed internal documentation that was easily at hand and on the site site.
WP Help provide this in spades. We now have a 33 documents with links to video tutorials and photos. The best part is that I add the docs to the main site of the multi-site and WP Help propagates the helps docs to all other sub-sites. The staff are never far from help docs. Thanks Mark.

Thank you for developing this plugin. It helped me a lot creating howto documents for my clients. Although the plugin works perfectly on 4.1 and 4.x series, I hope plugin will be maintained to meet the latest requirements.

I have a Tutorials page for my clients hosted on my website that covers the basics, but was looking for a way to provide instructions specific to my client’s website (for when I add CPTs, Custom Fields, or use a plugin that needs some instruction). This plugin fit the bill perfectly.
Thank you.

It’s easier to give simple plugins 5-star ratings but this is earned.
WP Help makes it really easy to put documentation into the admin in a place users can easily find it. It feels at home in WordPress and I find it helpful on any sites I build with complex features requiring documentation.
While certainly not the plugin’s fault, I would recommend that everyone using this make sure to “train” your users to use the documentation. Simply providing it is rarely enough to make people actually think to use it. Integrating it into trainings and referring to it during support interactions is key to getting the most from this plugin.
One feature I’d love to see added is the ability to generate Wikipedia-like in-page tables of contents based on heading structure. If I have the time to do that someday, maybe I’ll submit a patch.
