Hi I have tried this plugin on a single wp install running 3.4 then 3.9 and a MU install running 3.8.3 and had just the same problems.
For one it isn’t so easy to understand the setup from the video until you realise you can use the old interface for the google end of things, then it is relatively straight forward. God knows how you would do it with the new interface….
So I get everything setup, schedule a backup – then realise the default setting is not to backup the database and this setting is buried right a the bottom of the manage database page, so switch it on and try again.
No Matter what I do two things occur – 1) I only get a database backup and no file backup and 2) it doesn’t go automatically to the Googledrive – it goes when I manually move it with the ‘move to googledrive option’ at the very bottom of the page.
Anyone got any ideas?
This is a great start for a plugin, but the user interface would be much improved by shifting the settings and queue to the top of the database and files pages rather than the bottom where they might not be seen – and a log would be really useful (on one server I can’t switch on wp logging so have no idea what is going on).
Another really useful improvement would be to have the ‘Configure Google’ menu only appear on the root site (or on the Network Admin) on a MU (multisite) installation – I can’t have anyone on client sites being able to reconfigure the system backup settings, and even Adminimize, my trusty fallback for restricting access to interface elements, doesn’t seem to be able to restrict this one – it can’t even see it!
Shame coz it’s got the makings of a hot plugin, but I think I’m gonna have to go back to backwpup… ??

The API went fine. Any suggestions on how to fix?
Thanks,

I’ve installed and configured properly – had confirmation of this from google drive. When I perform an on-time back-up, keep getting “Please wait.. Process Loading…”, nothing else is happening.
What’s the problem with this. I don’t want to upgrade to WordPress 3.9 until I’ve taken a backup of files using your plugin.
Can you fix please?
Thanks

]]>I really love the plugin. Thanks for making such a plugin for the wordpress community. I wanted this plugin because Google drive gives 15 GB free. And it is very convenient to have a backup there.
Under “Manage Database” section there is a heading “Exclude Database Tables ( Check this option if you want to exclude files from backup )”. Under that I have all the check boxes unchecked. “Include Database into Backup” is set to Yes. Then I did On time backup.
But in the backup zip file (in GoogleDrive) I cannot see any database files. I only see the files. Can you tell me where is the Database backup? Shouldn’t it be an sql file?
…And how can I restore my backup?

]]>Hi,
can you check if this plugin works when wordpress is installed in custom folder like https://www.mydomain.com/customfolder/wordpress/ instead of default https://www.mydomain.com?
When I got installation like above I got wrong redirection, without (/customfolder/wordpress/) – so I generally redirects to main domain, not folder.

too bad this would have been a useful plugin

1. Do not use this plugin.
2. There is an urgent need for a better plugin to connect WordPress sites to Google drive using Google API.
