This plugin saved me a lot of time. Envira Gallery wasn’t working properly with Yoast SEO’s sitemap, but NextGen Gallery does, so I needed to migrate the images to NextGen. There is no NextGen to Envira migrator, but this is the closest thing to it. Envira Gallery images are saved in the Media Library while NextGen’s are not. Instead of matching over 200 images, I just used this plugin to download all of the images to my computer, then I uploaded them to corresponding NextGen galleries.

I had 95 albums of photos in Nextgen and managed to export them all in one go. Finally there where 1560 photos, making a zip file with a size of 1.2 GB. No problem at all! Thank you!

The plugin works well. It exports galleries as a zip file (I used it to export NextGen galleries). It’s easier than FTP because it doesn’t grab all of the extra files (thumbnails, backups, etc.). It doesn’t export settings, just the photos, so you will lose titles, captions, and alt tags. It keeps the photos in their folders, so you can upload easily to another site. The one thing I really wish it would have is a select all/deselect all galleries button. I had to export a few galleries at a time and since by default they are all selected, it was very tedious to unselect galleries (I have about 100).

I just exported over 50 NextGen galleries in a couple of minutes with this plugin. It’s a big timesaver.
