Our clients website is currently using WP Full Stripe and it works like a charm.

We are in the process of developing a new website and want to integrate this also, can we migrate from the old to the new? or is this not required as would it sync all the subscriptions from Stripe once we add his account on the new website?

He has over 5000 active subscriptions so want to ensure nothing is lost

I am getting the error “Sorry you are not allowed to access this page” when setting up webhooks at Stripe. Just saving the “Configure Stripe account” page causes the error, alogn with clicking through to Connect Webhooks. What can I do?

I am testing this plugin in the free version before I buy it. But when I try to make a test buy this appears:

“Stripe doesn’t currently support application fees for platforms in CA with connected accounts in MX.”

Dont know what this means or whay to do about it…. does this plugin works ok?

Seems to be an issue collecting payment from form after latest update – customer enters cc details but gets an error about authentication – on Stripe backend payment attempt is logged with the error – “The customer has not entered their payment method.” (there is no option to specify payment method on payment forms backend)

I’m looking into purchasing this for my website. I just am unsure if it’s what I need. I need to be able to have people pay me monthly which you can do. But I also need when a person subscribes for the first time it creates three users with three different names and assigns two roles to each of them one role that’s the same for all of them and one that’s not. The role that is the same will be called paid and when they have that they can access the site. But then when they miss a payment or end the subscription you revoke the paid role and give all three users the not paid role which gives you zero access. I have the roles set up to work already using members and adminimize. I just don’t know if you have hooks created or the custom code I would need to make these things happen with your plugin. I also need these things to work before I would buy the plugin. I also know this is the support place but I couldn’t find a contact or ask before purchase anywhere on the sight.

Starting 14 September 2019, new European regulatory requirements called Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) will introduce the need for two-factor authentication on many payments in Europe. Payments that aren’t authenticated may be declined by customers’ banks.

We’ve made updates to Stripe Billing to make it easy for you to prepare for these upcoming changes. Stripe Billing can dynamically apply authentication when required by SCA and now supports authentication of a card when it’s being saved for future payments (e.g., in the case of a free trial or metered billing).

I install your free plugin in my wordpress website and create a payment shortcode.
We insert the payments TEST credit card data and after put the pay button, I receive the following error:

Could not connect to Stripe (https://api.stripe.com/v1/charges). Please check your internet connection and try again. If this problem persists, you should check Stripe’s service status at https://twitter.com/stripestatus, or let us know at [email protected]. (Network error [errno 7]: )

I apreciate your suggest about this. We are using SSL in the webpage and our Stripe operational account.

Within the last four months we have not been able to recieve donation payments through this plugin. An amount was submitted on March 6, 2018 that shows up in the payments tab of the Full Stripe WP dashboard menu but never arrived in the Stripe account the plugin is connected to. All the API Keys are correct. We are using the most current WP Full Stripe Free plugin version 1.6.1. WordPress itself is current at 4.9.6. Is there anything you can recommend to allow the plugin to work properly once again.

I did notice in our Stripe account under Business settings > PCI compliance there was an “Action Needed” notification. It states, “All businesses who accept cards need to validate PCI compliance annually.” Is this what is causing the plugin to not connect correctly to Stripe? Any advice would be very helpful.

Is it possible to attach your Stripe plugin to multiple other plugins? For example,

1) My theme allows a donation using stripe – no plugin needed.
2) I want to use stripe with LearnPress – LP plugin used.
3) I want to use Stripe with Ninja Forms.
4) I may possibly open a store for employees to purchase logo material – so some eCommerce plugin.

Right now, Stripe works with only one of these. Is it possible to connect the same gateway plugin all of these?

I’m trying to add this plugin to a project and hitting a wall in the admin side due to a fatal JS error. I was able to install the plugin fine, but I’m unable to edit a payment form nor add custom inputs due to this error:

This is coming form admin.php ln 169 (which is in the middle of a block of enqueued scripts)

The error is being generated from

/plugins/wp-full-stripe-free/js/wp-full-stripe-admin.js?ver=1.6.1

When I try to edit any setting that would trigger a UI reaction, the screen gets stuck in the loading animation with no resolution.

Given that the script is trying to access “/v2/…” from my domain instead of Stripe’s domain, it seems like the plugin is using the incorrect site url value. My configuration is setup so that I can define core PHP variables across environments, and keep each one unique with it’s own individual DB connection strings. (My theme and plugin files are stored in /content):

I’m using wp Full Stripe Free and I like it! Five stars!

Questions:

1) On Stripe dashboard the “Description” of every transaction is:
“Payment from Name Surname on form: form-name Custom Data: n/a”

Of course, Name and Surname they depend on what the customer type, and “form-name” is based on the name I’ve chosen creating the payment form, but…

….How can I personalize this “Description” message?

Is it possible?

2) On Stripe Dashboard I saw that the plugin insert card’s holder name and his email inside metadata field and not inside card field (inside card field appear: “Name:
No name provided”).

Does this mean that the plugin doesn’t check if the name of card’s holder is real or not?
If so the card’s holder can type a fake name and the transaction will be approved anyway…

Or in the payment form with an amounted selected from a list, have these in different currencies

Is there a way an email notification can be sent to my admin email when a sale is made using this plugin? Otherwise I have no knowledge of when a sale happens. I don’t see it in a setting, and I have not been receiving notifications when sales occur. Thanks!

Is there a way to use this plugin to set up a paid subscription to a MailChimp newsletter?

The default form does not allow a donation value it defaults to 10.00 no matter what youi choose. The compact form works well but does not mention Expiry Month. users have to guess that is what is needed. It needs the word “Expiry” put iin some cards require a issue date so this is confusing.

The default form has no CC icons the compact does have but only three and not of the best quality.

It does work payments have been passed through Stripe but it needs the issues above fixed before I can use it on a live site.

My stripe api keys are entered correctly into the plugin settings.
And test mode apparently works because the results do show up in my stripe dashboard.
But I am unable to activate ‘live’ mode.
I just get the message (in the plugin settings page) that I need to provide the api keys for it to function.
Any ideas why this might be happening?

I already contacted my hosting provider and they said they checked the server and it all seems fine to connect properly to stripe.

Hello, I am testing this out. After a successful payment, I am checking for the fee of the transaction, but there does not seem to be any fee. The stripe does confirm a fee, but this isn’t shown in the table. I am using the latest API from Stripe. Any reason why this might not be working.

I am testing the plugin in Stripe test mode. I have the option selected to send an email receipt, but it is not being received at the address entered in the email field. I have checked the spam folder and nothing there. Any log, etc. to check if the email is being sent? Thanks.
