Hello there,
I don’t mind if you add paid features or not, but Freemius is really sucks, they are information traffickers, I would never install plugins working with them. Your plugin has been working well, but now I’m going to remove it and look for a replacement.
Bye.

Me ha solucionado totalmente el problema con el autoborrado de las cuentas. Maravilloso.
Ademas, por lo menos en Espa?a, obliga la ley de LPDP

In our country, a user has the legal right to have his personal data deleted. But since we operate a classifieds platform with a lot of users, we are not able to process these requests manually. This plugin allowed us to implement a self-service for users who would like to remove their personal data from our platform. It works well and has everything we need. Thanks a lot!

This plugin is pretty nifty, though it allows for expansion it doesn’t offer transactional support. Meaning that if it fails, the user may be partially deleted.
I may work on a new version of this, and will release it to the public if I do.

Hi,
When I select “custom_captcha” type if I fill with jquery the “wpfda-custom-captcha-answer” field with the necessary answer, when I submit it does not perceive the change of content and responde “Incorrect Answer. Please try again.”, there is a way to force to recheck the onchange ? I tried with the classic jquery trigger change but it doesn’t work, any suggestions? at this moment i force to get the value with jquery inside your plugin before check of correct string but this is not the right solution

Useful Plugin

The plugin is 5-star for what it does: it simply allows users to delete themselves from your site, and it’s fantastic that with the click of a button a woo endpoint is added right there in the my-account tab.
The woocommerce endpoint also has custom hooks that you can use with your theme to attach content around the delete me form to warn the user or provide more information to the user before they pull the trigger. Brilliant job, and thank you for all your hard work.

I installed this plugin and rebuilt the site. A failed site could never be repaired.

1) I see a 404 page not found while clicking the delete account tab?
You might need to refresh the permalinks. Navigate to Settings->Permalinks and Save.
2) I accidentally deleted my own account. I am the owner of the site.
There is no way to recover the deleted user because the data is permanently deleted from the database. If you’re locked out of your own site, you’ll need to create a new user and get access to the site.
3) How to add the delete account option in the PHP template file?
Using the code snippet below:
<?php
do_shortcode( [‘wp_frontend_delete_account’] );

Nice plugin, but it does not work properly with WPForo. The WP FORO (sucha as comments or posts in the foros) contents of the deleted user are not asigned to the chosen user of the configuration. These contents are not deleted, so when you delete the user there is aphp error calling the user in the foro frontend. If u delete the user from the wordpress backend without using a plugin everything works fine. Anyway, it’s a nice idea and you shouldn’t give up the project.

Thank you for this great plugin. Finally, customers can delete their own account through Woocommerce ‘My Account’ page.

This plugin out of the few on www.remarpro.com repository is great since it is simple to configure, works perfectly and adds the delete button to WooCommerce user control panel!
Thumbs Up!

It worked like a charm in my WooCommerce with WClover’s WCFM Multivendor setup. The deletion form is partially customizable, but it can be totally modified through Loco Translate. It could be improved by adding visual integration with themes made for WooCommerce, but as it is is already very helpful and ready-to-use. Totally a must for any marketplace or e-shop.
Edit: I forgot to mention the best feature, you can attribute all the contents of an user to anyone. This is specially useful for testing sandboxes where sometimes is needed to preserve images, blog posts and products after deletion.

Hey there.
I like the plugin, problem is if a user uses social login GOOGLE, FACEBOOK
It doesn’t automatically create a password for the user in WP/Woocommerce – it uses the Social media credentials for login.
So if a users doesn’t manually submit a password to there wp/woo account – then it is blank, if you attempt to delete account it returns an error of ” password empty”.
Are you able to allow the user to confirm account deletion without the use of a password by using an alternate credential.
Thanks
