This worst way to call a plungin from the theme template i’ve ever seen!!
<?php include (ABSPATH . '/wp-content/plugins/wp-featured-content-slider/content-slider.php'); ?>
My eyes are burning!!!!

Impressive. 2 years no maintenance, still working.
Of course, the successor to the plugin (WP Content slideshow reborn) is a valid alternative.

Installs easilly, but unfortunetly there’s no styles to choose from.

Hi am looking for a nice slideshow to highlight some of the latest post in a test site, before I move the plugin into a clients working site. Sadly, and following all the instructions, this plugin dose not work.

No CSS filo, which is a disaster!
No support on forums!

This is a mediocre plugin at best. While I have used it, it requires a lot of knowledge, I think, to actually get it going. I’ve hacked it and changed it all around, so it works… but it loads the CSS into the web page – that’s sort of a no-no, while it resizes the image, it uses a small thumb (or something – i don’t know, i got rid of that part)…
Like I said, it’s ok.
On the plus side, it gives a nice check box on Pages so that your client can choose to have a page used in the content slider instead of a Post, which is what many other plugins seem to do.
