I have been using WP FAQ Schema Markup for SEO for a long time now and was always satisfied with it. But now I want to redesign my website and also switch to a new Theme.

Right now I have a custom build theme but I want to switch to DIVI. My question now is: is the Plugin compatible with DIVI and when I switch the theme do I keep all my old FAQs or do they get lost?

I appreciate every help and information ??

I am having problems with my website and I cannot uninstall this plugin. I don’t know if it’s the culprit, it’s probably yoast seo, but I can’t uninstall this.

In my debug log at /wp-content/debug.log, I receive the following error message:

PHP Notice: Trying to get property ‘ID’ of non-object in /home/[my-web-folder]/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-faq-schema-markup-for-seo/includes/init.php on line 9

This error appears 5 times within half an hour.

Could you please advise on how to prevent this error? Or what further information you may need to diagnose it?

This plugin has been working great, but is now throwing up a Missing field ‘mainEntity’ issue… when I go to index in Search Console.

Suppose I used this plugin to make an FAQ, then I want to discontinue use of the plugin for once reason or another. Can I export my FAQ context so it can be imported to another plugin without simply copying and pasting everything?

Devs, do you have plans to add support faq for category?

Is there a way to include links in answers? Using standard HTML like <a href="https://google.com">Google</a> isn’t working for me. According to https://danielkcheung.com/link-in-faq-schema links in answers work if you use a single quote instead (e.g. it would be <a href='https://google.com'>Google</a>) but this also fails for me. For anyone who has a link in an answer that works now, how are you doing it?

Hi I wrote you to your mail but not answer. Love plugin and perfect for seo but when you have site in FR-ENG-ES waht you can do ? if i put faq in one page or custom type, when i switch languages and translate, I have the same text in the 3 languages ?
can you tell something or paste update code to try it?

the plugin is working great – but unfortunately, the information is also on the post overview page (aka my home page).
I got a notification from google yesterday, that there are duplicate FAQ markups.

It would be great if the markups wouldn’t be in the head section of other pages (like categories, archives etc.)

Hi is it ok to just copy and paste the answers from the classic editor text panel that contains various html? So it includes links and things like em tags? Or should I go as far as including div tags etc? Thanks

Installed your plugin about a week ago and have added faq’s to several posts, yet none of them show up on Google. I don’t have this problem with review stars for example which show up fine on Google. Am I doing anything wrong or does Google just randomly decide which sites to bless with faq markup?

Hi, first a “thank you”, very nice from you to supply us with your plugin.

However, I’m having trouble using line breaks and list markup with your plugin.

Upon saving a post line breaks are converted to “rn” and with list items I also get a “t” inserted into the markup. You can easily replicate this just by adding a line break and saving.
This is what I get for example (in the editor as well as in the frontend):
<ul>rn t<li>List item</li>rn t<li>List item</li></ul>
while it should be

<ul>
	<li>List item</li>
	<li>List item</li>
</ul>

While I can manually remove all breaks and within standard text replace them with <br> and <p> etc. this is not really desirable for anyone.

FYI: I’m using the classic editor.

Hope you can look into that.

Please let me know how I add this faq section on any page or post. I did not find any option in the post or page. I am using the classic editor. I did not see any popup option you showed in an image slider. Please let me know as soon as possible and Please create a document regarding this update on the plugin page. Its helpful others also.
