It works well for my blog.
Just an idea: I needed to hide the icon in the CTA buttons and I solved this easily by adding code in the CSS of my theme. It would be nice though if there was a simple exception option based on selector, just for the icon.

I wrote 3 emails to the support, but the support doesn’t answer.

The plugin only works for new posts added after installing the plugin, or if you edit your posts one by one.
Note that the developers do not respond to any comments with 1 star or 5 stars. For them, the opinion of those who use it is worthless. Do you understand that?
If you uninstall noreferrer it becomes active again. In other words, the guy makes the plugin and if you decide to uninstall everything, everything goes back to the way it was before.
It’s a basic thing, there should be a plugin that removes all rel=”noreferrer” from the database, because if you don’t want noreferrer you will never want it to stay in the database.

has been using it for many years and still strong and support is professional.

Broken Link Checker is a better free option. It does what this plugin does and also scans your links for free.

Doesn’t work with Bricks Builder, Motion.page or WP Gridbuilder. This is the core of my standard platform, so this plugin is pretty much useless for me.

Breaks additional CSS. This plugin was not tested very extensively. Removed it.

My client administers tests, so we had a testing section on their website. Seems like an update of this plugin caused any pages with testing in the url to be redirected to the home page. Very frustrating to fix and very sloppy programming on the developer’s part.

This plugin breaks a load of WooCommerce features. Obviously not tested very extensively. Had to remove it.

I never had the issues before for dofollow and nofollow. I have tried so many plugins and code but it didn’t work for me. After I found this plugin, wow one click then all fixed. Thank you.

It would be great if they could optimize the plugin for bbpress/buddypress

Generates conflicts – only applicable for very basic needs

I love this plugin. This should be a default, core WP option. This plugin is that good.
However, everytime you create a new site and ativate this plugin the dashboard gets yet another dashboard spam popup:
Thank you for installing the WP External Links plugin!
Open WP External Links to manage your links, and configure settings.
Dear plugin and theme developers. We KNOW we installed your tool. We KNOW we can get to your settings to dial things in. Please stop building dashboard spam popups.
I wish THAT was a core WP feature. Zero Dashboard spam popups. Until then maybe someone can write a plugin that everyone can install that prevents WP dashboard spam popups and prevents the stacks of messages at the top of the dashboard about plugins that have been installed.
We KNOW we installed them! ??

If this operates on an SEO basis then the link changes from what google initially crawls. This is going to look like black hat stuff and external links likely to get you in trouble. Unless I am missing something. No docs or anything?

I was using their other product External Links In New Windows and it stopped working. I found this after doing a search and it’s amazing. It not only works, but so far I haven’t had any conflicts.
This is my own question, but under the Internal Links in the Settings, there’s only a checkbox that says, “Apply These Settings”. The only problem is that there are no settings to apply. There’s only the checkbox. Is that normal?
The only gripe I have is the annoying box urging you to go pro that takes up too much real estate. No way to turn it off or the floating icon in the bottom-right corner. Oh well. Maybe in the next version.

Great free plugin, and clearly explained using real-speak. Recommend.

works perfectly fine – there is an option to exclude some domains that you want to actually give out do-follow links to- so a great solution for managing your external links.
