I am using the WordPress plugin “Custom Product Tabs for WooCommerce” (https://shorturl.at/pD0a2) from an author called “Code Parrots” and now realized that there is no longer any support for it. It also already seems to no longer work correctly for some users.

The plugin still works on my website, but I would like to switch to another plugin before there are any problems with it.

Does anyone has some experience migrating plugin “Custom Product Tabs for WooCommerce” tabs data to “WP Tabs”? Is it possible to export the data from “Custom Product Tabs for WooCommerce” using export/import tools/plugins and import it into “WP Tabs” somehow? Perhaps someone can share their knowledge with this?

What if I don’t delete the tabs and add the page content or all products in the export and import to other shops, there will be a collapse of the old domain

I had recently copied from one shop to 2 other shops with mp3 players from one side to 2 other shops with the word click on the music to turn off the MP3 player, which then resulted in the one page from which I had copied the content and pasted it into the 2 other shops that the whole page of the copied content was no longer accessible

If I take over the tabs when importing the products into another shop, it can then also come to a collapse of the exported site

Tab headings are “enclosed” in the “<label>” element, which is usually used in forms and expects some form input field. This causes the following error when examining the page with the WP Tabs enabled table in browser development tools:

Further description of the error:

The label's for attribute doesn't match any element id. This might prevent the browser from correctly autofilling the form and accessibility tools from working correctly.
To fix this issue, make sure the label's for attribute references the correct id of a form field.

Thank you for this great plugin.

Unfortunately, the plugin is incompatible with WPBakery. I have tested it with/without WPBakery. When the shortcode is added in WP text widget of WPBakery, the tabs are broken.

I tested the plugin with classic editor, the plugin worked perfectly.

I tested the plugin in a page which was created by WPBakery. I changed over to classic editor, and added the short code the bottom of WPBakery codes. It worked again.

The problem just occurs when I add the shortcode via WP text widget of WPBakery.

Hi, i’m considering upgrading to pro. However, I need the tabs headings to use a custom font, not in Google fonts. This is critical to the purchase decision. Is this possible?

Also, I see the pro version allows the tabs to be justified, does this allow the Tabs to be ‘full width’ across the screen?

After upgrade to PRO, the section to edit the tabs completly disappeared. Licesne is active, Tabs i created before, on the Free plugin are still there but when i try to edit them or add new Tabs everything under the section CUSTOM POST is kind of blank / not active.

I was testing the demo of your plugin to see if it was accessible and wanted to provide some feedback. Can you please make these fixes so that it’ll be fully accessible for screen reader users?

1. The tabs cannot be selected with a keyboard alone. This is because though you have made them focusable they are not links or buttons and thus need JavaScript added to make them function. They should be triggerable with the Enter Key and Space Bar. Add role=”button” plus the correct JS handlers.
2. All of the tabs have aria-selected=”true” including unselected tabs. In a tablist,?aria-selected?is used on a tab to indicate the currently-displayed?tabpanel. You need to set this to false by default and use JavaScript to change the value to true when a tab is selected.
3. You need to remove the outline:0 CSS from .sp-tab__lay-default :focus — This CSS makes it impossible for keyboard-only users to be able to see where their keyboard focus is.

The woocommerce tabs industry is suffering, you are the only one who seems good to offer a nice wp tabs plugin compatible with Polylang ! At least one user that know WPML sucks for e-commerce. We are so Happy.

Unfortunately, we test your plugin and it doesn’t offer the function to apply tabs on certain product name, product tag, product sku, or product category, this is a need, we do e-commerce and we need this. Can you offer an update or anything in this sense that will definitely make your plugin #1 because the YIKE team is AFK and other developper seems not to have your skills. TRUE.

I have access to two sites with plugin version 2.1.18 and 2.1.19 and in both of them icons for moving and deleting tabs are missing.
Do you know what could have happened ?

When using your great plugin in Right To left languages websites, there are a few display glitches on the tab placements.

1. The alignment to the right of the tabs does not align them correctly on desktop/leptop. There is a space before the first tab on the right. If I set the alignment to Left, it align the tabs to the right better (but not perfect) then using alignment to the right.

2. There is now space between the last tab on the left, and the one that comes before it.

3. There is no option to deside to use accordion tab on mobile phone. The accordion tabs is taking a lot ot vertical screen space, and if Admin want to show regular tabs in mobile phones as well, the only way doing so is by changing the setting that determine the small screens from 480 to 0. BTW, the issues reported on desktop/leptop reported above, does not shown on mobile when using regular tabs by setting the screen size to 0 as described.

Can I enable plugin visibility for ‘editor’ role in WordPress? Currently, the Editor cannot change / add / edit anything in the added content as a table in WP Tabs. And that’s an unnecessary complication. It looks nice and that’s where the legitimacy of such solutions ends.

The newlines in the text in tab description don’t work. They show correctly in the wysiwig – visual tab, but not on the actual page (all text is shown in 1 line). It only works when I type the br html tag manually in the wysiwig editor – text tab. A gigantic work.. What’s more, when i would switch to the visual editor and save, all newlines (br tags) would have dissapeared.

What’s going on and how could that be solved?

Is it possible to have word wrap for the title in the tab? That way, my tabs won’t be so wide and need a second row.

You can set the background color. but I can’t see where to set the text color for the active tab.
