This plugin seems to be required by the theme my tech person installed. Is it still being supported?

When you copy the URL (Copy Link) from the facebook video, and paste that in, that is the URL it shows. It seems that there’s some updating that needs done? Or something needs changed up to work with the new FB Video URLs?

I did try adding in ‘//fb.watch/’ in the Embed_FB.php file, but I guess it doesn’t work that way?

Step by step guide link was blocked by my Anti-virus, Is there something wrong with the site that is linked within the Plugin for setting up Facebook App to connect to this Plugin?

As I’m not a high WordPress skilled admin, maybe I’ve done a mistake or misunderstood how the plugin works.

Hi, I was testing magic embeds, and it seems that at first play facebook video start with muted audio, then after I put sound on it mute after 10 second automatically till the end of the video. Then on last 5 second I can hear audio again. Why is that? What is the point of the plugin if its not working properly? Is there a trick behind it?

Embedded live stream videos seem to play in safari on iPhone but will not play in Safari on iPad. When you click the PLAY button, the video flashes and then doesn’t play. Any ideas on what to try? Using wordpress 5.3.

I’m trying to embed an album following the instructions here: https://wpembedfb.com/custom-embeds/album-embed/ but when I view the embed on the site it just has a message from Facebook saying that the page no longer exists or is private. The page does exist and is not private, so I suspect that Facebook just doesn’t want to let people embed albums anymore. Is there any way to embed an album?

Doesn’t look like the generated embeds are anywhere near mobile responsive.

I have installed your plugin add my Developer credentials then I add the link events from a fb page:

I need to import all events from many different FB pages into a single WP Calendar and display one feed of all these events. Can your plugin do that?

We bought the premium version, the plugin caused problems over problems.
Now the update is not longer possible as the plugin homepage seems to be hacked and contents virusses.
Beware of these people! We paid for nothing.

I am using this plugin with the following shortcode: [embedfb https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.2014334445475083.1073741837.1908774192697776&type=1&l=2b009df760] (pretty much taken straight from the example in the documentation) to display thumbnails (and ultimately full-sized photos in a lightbox) from a Facebook album. Up until recently, it was working as expected. It currently displays the following message:

It seems like this is a change on FB’s end… I tried following their instructions given in the link in the error message, but after logging into the App’s dashboard, things quickly got over my head. Now I’m not really sure if this is something I need to do or if the message is directed towards the plugin developer.

Any guidance you can provide to get this working once again would be greatly appreciated.

This was just recently brought to my attention by the site owner

After updating the plugin I get the following error:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/content/19/7115219/html/wp-content/plugins/wp-embed-facebook/wp-embed-facebook.php on line 18

I was able to deactivate the plugin, and have tried rolling back the updates, but I still cannot get it to work.

After the latest update (3.0.4), on two of my sites I get http 500 error. I was blocked from accessing even the backend. I had to manually delete the plugin in plugin directory to get the sites working. Is there any chance for fixing this.

All my posts with a facebook embedded went broken when I updated the plugin to 3.0.1 version
The pages became “loaded” as soon as only the title is loaded. Everithig was blanck, including the right bar
The link I’m attaching was just one of them.
I had to restore a backup

I installed the update and had no problems. However, none of my colleagues could get to the wp-admin screen. All of them received a blank screen with the message “invalid page: options add_options_page”.

I’m an Administrator and had no issues. Everyone else is either an Editor or Contributor – I assume the issue lies there.

Upon disabling the plug-in the issue went away.

Is there a way to make the width of the embedded content larger than 500px? Like… mayb e the width of the site? I need it to be the same size as the content on the page, 1170px.

Please help!

We are using the plugin quite a bit and have been very happy with it. Is there a way to show a list of Past Events as well as upcoming events using the shortcode [fb_plugin page href=https://www.facebook.com/sydneyoperahouse/ tabs=events ]

We’d love to be able to show Past Events for archival purposes the way we’re using it on our website.

I ran into a strange issue earlier today with this plugin. After updating the SDK version I noticed that the widget only loads on certain pages of the site.

I have it located in the footer on the left hand side. So if you compare the Home page with the Bio page, you’ll see that the widget loads on the Home page but not on the Bio page.

Do you know what could be causing this problem?

Where do I find the place where cookies for the plugin is set? I need to turn them off until the user accepts cookies to comply with the EU GDPR

I am seeing this error on 3 sites now using this plugin. The third install was a virgin install and I still get the error, so not conflicting with another plugin.

The album failed some time ago and I’ve been unable to get it fixed. Now I’m getting new errors:

The album no longer loads and I get this error on the page:

Error: Error validating application. Application has been deleted. (only visible to admins)

The WB facebook page where it was just loading the site location it is now showing this error on the page:

Code: 190
Error: Error validating application. Application has been deleted. (only visible to admins)

I don’t know what the issue is, the WB plugin is active.

I got some emails from Facebook, that I have to update my Facebook App, because they won’t support Graph API v2.5 furthermore. Will I have problems with WordPress Embed Facebook?
If yes, what do I have to change?
