Sent an email to all users with the Subscribers role using the [[first-name]] shortcode in my message. ALL users received an email with ONE person’s first name, not their individual first names.

This plugin is FULL of bugs and doesn’t work as expected. Please update or remove from the market.

What is this you put on the plugin…..this is why I deleted your plugin…

“Send Email” does not work. I didnt use SMTP but still does not send but it shows on the “Sent Mail” as failed status. May I know how to fix this?

I also tried to use SMTP but it didnt show at all on the “Sent Mail” list.

Today I sent an e-mail starting with [[first-name]] [[last-name]]

But everyone got the same first-name and last-name in the e-mail. Using wordpres 5.8.1

When i edit my templates, i lose all formatting and images.

Template looks normal when i create it, but as soon as i edit it and save, it loses the formatting and images. Text saves but is just on a continuous line.

when I sent mail to only one user – [[display-name]] is showing correctly, but I tried sent mail to 30 user and [[display-name]] not working, to all users was sent mail with same display-name..

Hi there, this has the potential to become a great plugin, but at the moment it is unusable. I found the following bugs:

– when switching to SMTP, the entire ‘to’ field disappears and emails do not send – there is no message, just return to base email send page

– it is impossible to enable the plugin for multiple user roles, even though the option is there. Selecting multiple simply does not do anything.

– in the autoresponder mail section, the mailto list of users to select from is empty for new post publish/new user register

I hope you continue working on the plugin.

I am using your plugin for all my editor users are able to send emails to all my subscribers. When I do this plugin as an ADMINISTRATOR it works great. The problem is when I try to use as an EDITOR. The plugin doesnt show up on my WP dashboard menu and I am also using “User Role Editor” to limit the capabilities for my editors. The things is that your plugin WP EMAIL USES doesnt show up among all capabilities/role options from the plugin “User Role Editor”. Please help, my site is about to launch and I need to clear this up. This is the only plugin having that issue.

If I want to send emails to some selected users with an email template where I use shortcodes to personalize these emails, the users will get emails shortcodes replaced by one of the selected user’ data.
Eg. I select users:
John Doe
Philip King
Mary Tailor

Everybody will get an email with (eg.) Mary Tailor’s data.

It’s a big mistake. Please inform me when it will be corrected.

I like this plugin. I tested it and it works fine. My only dilema is how I maje this form to happen at a front end page and not let the user to touch the backend wordpress dashboard. I want this feature to be added to an especific page at the front end when the registered user is logged in. Thank you.

I am checking for a WP plugin to allow sending emails to a few or all of my ‘subscriber’ users, from the administrator user or among them. I checked sending a sample email as administrator to 1 user and it was good, but I did it FROM the backend WP Dashboard.
Question:
I want to bring this capability to a front end page. How can I embed this capability into a new created page? and can I allow my ‘subscriber’ users also to send emails as well or is it restricted to the administrator??

Since we updated to 1.7.5 my mails are sent to all selected users in To. This used to be in BCC. Now all my subscribers are exposed to every other subscriber.

When I click on the radio button User behind “Send Email To Bcc” the page suddenly loads the list of subscribers there. When I click the radiobutton behind “Send email to” the list of subscribers moves up again. This seems to be a bug.

Also merging the subscribers name is not working as expected. Wrong merge (name of USER A is in the mail to emailadress of USER B).

There is a problem with the apostrophe in French. When you use it in an email: example l’ the result gives l\’ It was ok before. Could you please correct?

I would like to use this plugin for other roles not administrators role.

I added roles fromm [WP Email Users] -> [Setting] -> [Enable Plugin For Other Roles] -> [Select Multiple User Roles] and displayed Changes successfully saved.

But the role user cannot use this plugin even not access the email sending page.

It seems like [Select Multiple User Roles] is back to administrators only.

How do I add other role for use?

Like If I set User role changed option to True in Autoresponder Email Manage.
And if I change the role of any user, he will get an email that says “User role changed!”

I found out that the WP Email Users does not send out the email if I have some Chinese characters in the Template Subject (email subject). It’s fine with Chinese characters within the Message/body of the email.

I carefully configured everything. I edited a template and saved it as a new one. I selected all users. I added the short code for the first and last names and clicked on send but the email history shows nothing.

Is there a way to first send a test message to myself?

Hi,
i wanted to send a test mail to one selected role. Instead of sending the mail to ONE role, ALL users got the mail. What a disaster. I then deinstalled the plugin, installed it again today to take a look. Now, the appaerance of the plugin has changed, some menues are missing.

Just this message, I don’t need help, I will not use anymore this plugin

Tested this with one user, worked as expected.

Sent an email to 93 users and each of the 93 members received 93 duplicate emails.

Terrible, uninstalled. Now to apologize to those people and thankfully it was not 1000s of users or that would have been an attack.

When trying to send an email to a subscriber list it refreshes the page and doesn’t seem to ever send the email to that list.

I have just tested the version 1.7.4, with the PHP send function, by choosing as recipient a WP role which has only one user, a message was sent to all the subscribers that is to say nearly 200 !!! and that I also received by tens !

I sent a message to a single user, which I also received in several copies!

Would it be possible to have a previous version that was not bugged? Thank you in advance!

I can see that many others experience the same issue as I am – the plugin does not work, and cause error reports on the site. No reply from techspawn (provider of the plugin) as far as I can see, no timeline for rectifying the problem.

To Techspawn1: Please state your intentions. If no action from you will need to swap out the plugin and report to WordPress I suppose?

Since the last update, sending mails with the PHP send function generates an error message; with the configuration of an SMTP server, I don’t get any error message, but the mails are not sent.

Is it possible to have the previous version?

I just installed V1.7.2 and it does not send emails.
Javascript error: “name_sender is not defined” in the SMTP configuration page after hitting Update Configuration button.

We are running WP version 5.5.3 and plugin version 1.7.2 and after Jan 19-2021, this stopped sending emails and we get an error saying “Sorry your mail has not sent” with no other details. Can you please let me know ASAP how to remedy? Thank you.
