It mostly works but spending ridiculous amounts of times just to figure out what the options are in the short code that could be fixed by the developed putting together a 1 page here is a list of my short code options. Just providing examples is not documentation. It would save everyone a lot of time and frustration if they did this. It basically is loosing two stars just for complete lack of documentation, which the developer could save themselves support and negative reviews if they spent an hour putting together.
Other than truly hunting and pecking beyond what the default dialog, which only does some of the minimum required functions required to use this plugin, it mostly works but have run into issues on occasion that I have not completely run down of only the initial tab working.
Other issues I have encountered and not solved:
The other issue is the colors in the dialogue don’t always actually display as you choose them and the parameters to modify the colors (such as what parameter modifies which color) is again not at all documented.
You can display posts but not pages by their WordPress Post ID.

Excellent plugin, easy to customize and responsive. If you want to use vertical tabs, be sure to follow the instructions at the link below, from the developer’s website.
https://github.com/samsono/Easy-Responsive-Tabs-to-Accordion
I saw one reviewer also posted instructions.
Agreed that the documentation needs beefing up. But everything you need to know is on the dev’s website noted above. Also — be sure to change the vertical option in both the js and PHP files.
I’ve worked with several accordion/tab plugins. Although it took me a while to figure out how to use, this is by far the best.

Yes, it probably needs a bit more documentation for those who aren’t that familiar with WordPress but I’ve used this on two sites now and have found it easy to implement and it works nicely.
A hint for those of you that can’t get it to work…
After activating the plug-in, add the demo div code into your page that can be found here: .
I didn’t have to do anything with the javascript it mentions, I just saved my page and it just works.
If you want to customise the look of it, you’ll need to dive into firebug and add some css as there’s no admin for any customisation.

I use this plugin to have a set of tabs at the bottom of the page with additional content instead of a really long page. It works perfectly, and unlike other plug ins that I’ve come across, the tabs don’t stack up on small screens (and I’ve tried a number of plugins) instead it switches to an accordion without any fuss. I’m wondering whether the people giving it bad reviews are trying to do things that the plugin wasn’t designed to do – or doing things where there’s a high risk of conflicts. Keep things simple and you’ll be fine.
I wish it was easier to customise the look-and-feel, but at least it does the job that it’s supposed to do.

Pretty Straight forward to implement as a designer but, I could not figure out how to implement embedded sets. (A default tab set inside of a vertical tab set). Documentation is sparse to non-existant.

There’s zero documentation and it doesn’t work within the WordPress menu structure.
There seem to be people here who have worked out how to make it work but I’m not a coder and was looking for a WP plugin, not some clever code to add in.
I don’t like giving a low rating, but I have no idea how to make this work and want to flag up to other non-advanced users that this is probably not for them.

Copied in the demo code from the developer’s site https://webtrendset.com/demo/easy-responsive-tabs/Index.html and it just worked.

Good luck.

I was hesitant to try this plugin based on the negative review it received, but am very please I did! Unfortunately I tried a PAID plugin first, which I was not happy with as it was loading the accordian first instead of tabs. I tried reaching out to the developer and was not happy with his response…he said “maybe I you have too many tabs” What, really? I only had 3 tabs! Anyway, I decided to give this a shot. It was very basic and bare-bones for a plugin, no customization whatsoever, BUT was very easy to customize the appearance with basic HTML and CSS and now looks better than the PAID version.
Definitely give it a try, it might save you too!
Thanks for saving me on this one!

The only documentation is for the original JQuery script. There is nothing about the WordPress plug-in itself nor any setup instructions.
I don’t like leaving one-star reviews but this plug-in has no instructions and after tweaking many times still does not work.

Thanks for plugin. Pretty useful & neat. Needs 2 things IMHO:
– Selecting type in each instance
– scroll support for long boxes
