I have a custom post-type that is attracting spam like no tomorrow. I’ve tried other “disable comments” plugins, but none have identified this post-type and allowed me to disable comments/trackbacks/pingbacks on just those objects. I could try to alter the plugin for that post-type or make a custom call in a new plugin, but that seemed excessive.

This plugin fit the bill. Works as intended, easy to use. Awesome. My only suggestion would be to make the interface a bit more clear when it comes to having various options for post-types/tags/categories. Right now, the select method works well, but I could see some users becoming confused about options are “on” or “off” for a specific type.

But seriously, thank you for making a solution that works.
