Hello team =) ,
after WordPress 6.7 and 6.7.1 installations, many, many plug-ins give me the same, exact PHP error. Also WP-DBManager v2.80.1:
Notice: Function _load_textdomain_just_in_time was called incorrectly. Translation loading for the wp-dbmanager
domain was triggered too early. This is usually an indicator for some code in the plugin or theme running too early. Translations should be loaded at the init
action or later. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 6.7.0.) in /home/customer/www/staging25.francescolegrenzi.com/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 6114
This messages in only visible in the back-end. In the front end it doesn’t appear.
Why? Can you fix it?

MY STAGING WEBSITE:
https://www.stagingXX.francesc0legrenzi.c0m
replace XX with 25, and francesc0legrenzi.c0m “0” with “o”

WooCommerce and Yoast are already working on a fix.

Also, WPML answered me:
Our team is aware of these notifications; however, we could not determine if they are directly related to the WPML plugin.
“We recommend waiting for each plugin to address this notification. In the meantime, you can set the debug mode to false to prevent these notifications from being bothersome.”
And this is the official thread:
https://wpml.org/errata/php-error-wp-6-7-notice-function-_load_textdomain_just_in_time-was-called/

Finally, Siteground hosting decided to turn off the WP autoupdate to all their customer! So, the problem is serious!
I simple disabled the plug-in WPML Multilingual CMS and all PHP error disappeared from MY website.
But I also see websites, without multilingual setting (so, no WPML), with the same PHP errors. For example:
https://sumaqgrill.com/
https://trosyd.it/
So, this WP 6.7.1 is destroying many websites!

Hello,
You say in the plugin that only INSERT, UPDATE, REPLACE, DELETE, CREATE et ALTER are authorized. However I would like to use first the command “SELECT * from”, before doing eventually something else. How can I do that please ? Thanks. Philippe

Можно сделать в плагине разбивку при сжатии на несколько файлов, например, размером до 20Мб и отправлять email с каждым куском файла отдельно? Было бы очень удобно
]]>Hi,
Thanks for this very important plugin. I love WP-DBManager so much. I think the plugin has most of the features related to the database.
I just miss one feature I think should be there. There should be a download option for database tables so that I don’t need a separate plugin for that task.
Can you please add the feature?
Thanks.
]]>Hi Lester,
in the newest Version (2.80.6) the Settings of WP-DBManager in the admin sidebar are gone?
Thanks
Matthias
It looks like with the newest versions of iThemes Security and WP DB Manager, there is some sort of conflict. The WP DB Manager menu is removed entirely, and if I try to browse to the settings pages via URL I am told I do not have the proper permissions to see the page. This is on admin users.
When I disable iThemes, the WP DB Manager menu comes back. I’m trying to go through each iThemes setting, disabling them one-by-one, to see which setting is causing this. It has not been working. I have database backups disabled in iThemes.
I have had both of these plugins on dozens of live sites for years and have not encountered this problem before.
]]>Thanks for a great plugin.
At the moment trying to get it to work locally using Local by Flywheel.
I can’t locate their mysqldump file
I get the “Excellent. You Are Good To Go”.
but later “Database Failed To Backup On ‘May 25, 2022 @ 9:06 am’. Invalid Backup File Path.”
Have tried these locations for Path To mysqldump:
/Users/user/Library/Application Support/Local/run/database/mysql/mysqld.sock
also
/Users/user/Library/Application Support/Local/run/mZfSVOrvZ/mysql/data/local
and
/Users/user/Library/Application Support/Local/run/mZfSVOrvZ/mysql/data/mysql.ibd
Path To mysql:
/Users/user/Library/Application Support/Local/run/database/mysql
and for Path To Backup:
/Users/user/Local Sites/my-site/app/public/wp-content/backup-db
That being said it is true that if you physically “Stop Site” (not the app!!!) the Local (by flywheel) Ap does update a backup file located at /Users/user/Local Sites/my-site/app/sql.
This in itself is great however if possible i really would love to have the luxury of scheduled backups that your plugin provides.
Thanks

]]>Can you update this plugin to make it compatible with latest WordPress and PHP 8.

Hello,
First thanks for your plugin.
Looks pretty complete and really like it.
But I have an issue with the backup and restore and really would like to use your plugin as it is very simple to use and powerful.
All the theme configuration are reset after restoring the backup and emoticon are replaced by question marks.
Here is a video: https://www.loom.com/share/30782e6811fa4de1afd5d9a76bee23f3
Happened before when I was using the hosting Siteground. On my actual hosting restore works fine.
They identified the issue from their side and were going to fix it, but I changed hosting anyway.
Here is a copy of the issue they found:
I would like to update you that our System Administrators had identified a bug with the backup system. The backup system is using the server’s default charset which is utf8 upon restoration. Our colleagues created a task in our system and the issue will be addressed.
Simona Boynovska
SiteGround Technical Support
So, I think the issue comes from the default charset and guessing your plugin doesn’t support ours or doesn’t backup or restore using the right charset…
What can we do to make it work?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Kind regards,
Marco

Still the same problem even after i click to let WP-DBManager try to fix it.
Your backup folder is NOT writable
To correct this issue, make the folder /home/tolawrit/public_html/wp-content/backup-db writable.
Your backup folder MIGHT be visible to the public
To correct this issue, move the file from /home/customer/www/tolawrites.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-dbmanager/htaccess.txt to /home/tolawrit/public_html/wp-content/backup-db/.htaccess
To correct this issue, move the file from /home/customer/www/tolawrites.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-dbmanager/index.php to /home/tolawrit/public_html/wp-content/backup-db/index.php
]]>The trigger may or may not have been the update to WordPress 5.6, but automatic scheduling no longer works. Manual backups work fine.
Even after uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin, it won’t retain an automatic schedule, whether daily or on the hour, whether prompted with a prior manual backup or not.
Nothing I’ve tried has returned automatic scheduling functionality.

is an update to wordpress 5.5.1 coming soon?

I recently moved a site to a new host. The plugin options keeps showing the backup folder path from the old host. Here are the steps I have tried:
1) Get correct path from host and paste into option (several times):
Result ‘not valid path’
2) Confirmed path is correct and verify it has 755 permission
3) Delete plugin and reinstall
Same as 1 above – reinserts old host’s path
3) Manually Edit SQL – wp_options and fix path entry at: ‘dbmanager_options’
same result as 1 above (Tried a couple of times)
4) Delete plugin then Manually Edit SQL: Delete wp-options ‘dbmanager_options’ completely.
Reinstall plugin.
same result as 1 above
Where does it find name to old path – should be deleted!
Kind of at a loss how to correct this. This is an excellent plugin and I use it on lots of site. Have resorted to using PHPMyAdmin to backup SQL but a real PIA.
Thank you in advance for any support.
Shaun
Hi :
I need to remove tables created by a faulty plugin which produced lots of “no primary id” rows in the table.
I tried using empty and then delete but nothing changes.
Any thoughts?
